      This book was difficult to write for it deals with the issue of puppy mills and their fallout. It is truly senseless for this kind of atrocity to happen in our own backyards. It is heartbreaking to lose some of the pups. It is back-breaking work to get them all into foster homes and various rescue groups to get them the healthcare they need as quickly as possible. This way we can save many of them.

      Thankfully I have no personal experience with rescuing dogs from puppy mills. The story is fictional. The scenarios, the dogs and the people all materialized in my imagination before making it to the written page. I have
