I am a simple guy dealing with some complicated issues.I believe there should be no compromise when it comes to the Bill of Rights. People are supposed to be the focal point of our Republic.I now utilize the tenth amendment to state that the U.S. Government is unfit to remain in authority or represent justice. Per the tenth amendment, the will of the people is to come before anything to include special interest groups and political parties. We all have the right to have a government that represents us. This government clearly and openly does not.Every rights violation committed either by someone or something to include governments, is an act of war. There are many ways to attack others without the use of violence. I have been through and continue to endure that relentless experience myself. Such violations are often protected by law even though they are outside the purpose of government to begin with.Perception: Govt. is doing it's job taking care of disabled veterans.Reality: Veteran suicides at epidemic levels because so many being left without.Perception: EPA protects the environment and cares about our safety. If they say the water is safe to drink, it must be.Reality: Fracking is causing earthquakes and the people who consume the post processed water they are told is safe to drink, face severe physical health effects.Perception: If the government tells someone's family they committed suicide in jail, it must always be the truth.Reality: Sometimes someone paid someone else who could create the opportunity to kill the victim who is believed to have taken their own life. People use the government in this fashion to get away with murder all the time. No one looks for a killer when everyone thinks the victim did it to themselves. Easily, one of the cruelest and unjust forms of social selection.Perception: Money acting as free speech helps entrepreneurs advertise.Reality: Money unconstitutionally acting as a "legal" form of free speech is effectively silencing the voices of common people within both the advertising markets and the government.Perception: If the U.S. Govt. came into contact with E.T.s, they would tell the public about it. They have to, why wouldn't they? Reality: U.S. Govt has been aware of other advanced life for over 70 years. It was decided that such information would be kept classified and secret before Admiral Byrd could even return from the Antarctic Expedition known as Operation: High Jump. Around that time was when what was our once Constitutional Republic, first became compromised.

A Fairy Tale with a Tragic Ending

    Valentine Edge

My exhausted eyes are heavily closed,

I can feel the cool spring breeze blow along my unprotected arms.

As I force open my iron weighed eyelids,

All I can see are healthy green and grassy fields.

I see her there in the middle,

    Standing along.

    Waiting.

    Watching.

I stepped forward slowly with care and patience,

For a peak a bit closer to see if it was my love.

As I silently closed the gap between us,

    I became more unconsciously intrigued.

I finally made direct eye contact,

Her deep emerald stare hypnotized me.

I became completely and helplessly incoherent.

No more than a few steps away from her,

No more than a few moments away from happiness,

Out of nowhere a crimson blade appears in her hand,

Serving the sole purpose it was crafted for,

It pierces my fragile heart exposing me to the world.

As I drop to my knees,

    She drives her sword deeper.

As she saws the flesh from my chest,

My blood begins to crystallize and skin to harden.

The fields around lose their color and their life.

My blood burning to ashes as it hits the ground.

I realize I am gradually sinking into the soft powder dirt,

I realize I am gently sliding into hell.

The flames rise up around to consume me.

I never thought when I was young,

I would fall victim to the Valentine Edge.

    Someone I felt so softly,

    Someone I trusted so compassionately.

I died to my true vulnerability,

To be resurrected from the ashes of the remains,

Ready to finish this once and for all.

    Once Upon a Time

    Once upon a time,

    A rider came in,

    From the darkest of depths,

    His news most grim.

    With so much already lost,

    He sadly new the sacrificing,

    Had only just begun.

    A fateful hour,

    The village bell tolls,

    Everyone responds to the warning,

    Uninvited guests approach,

    Locals ready to welcome them.

Their homes are constantly under attack,

This was not the first time,

They knew it would not be the last.

    In the dead of night,

    With the power of darkness,

    Ready in its prime,

    Soulless shadows rush in.

Street torches extinguish as they pass.

    Soon the only luminance,

    Was the whole village burning.

    The horrors of the siege,

Have for now satisfied their hunger,

We all knew with what little we have left,

    Against that ever growing appetite,

This next battle would like be,

    Our last stand.

    There was no retreat,

    No corner of the world,

    Untainted by this corruption.

    With pain so unbearable,

    Death seems a merciful gift.

    With no escape,

    Against unlikely odds,

The battle began as the enemy promised.

    Screaming and fighting thundered,

Foul burning smells and dark blood,

    Saturate the once peaceful place,

    Savaged by the wicked.

    At long last,

    The day is near,

    The rising sun is here.

This ray of hope meant our survival,

Giving us our chance to exist,

    A contending opportunity.

    There was no happy ending,

Yet I was happy to be alive,

    Mourning all who are lost,

Tending to those who were left behind.

    Difference of Equals

We are all equal under the stars,

Yet not all people play up to par.

    We as a whole,

    Regardless of race,

    Regardless of faith,

    Regardless of interests,

Are only as strong as the weakest.

Equality does not mean the same,

    Two plus two,

    Three plus one,

    Both equal four,

They still are not the same.

In a contest of apples and oranges,

    They are very different.

In a contest of fruit and vegetables,

    They are equals
