About this ebook

Dr. Mawi Batimah after going through this material said, "In this great piece, the author, shares and expounds on how the Church can position herself to receive the revival many of us pray for in the Kingdom. He takes it to a whole different level when he shares how it can be maintained; not only received." As the desire for bringing forth revivals to transform the lives of people to that extent of leaving an indelible impression upon the entire human race the Church ought to maintain the fire of revival. 17 Days Revival is a highly scriptural book filled with revelations from the Holy Ghost on the how we can receive the revival we desire, maintained it and spread it influence. This material has been written in the form of a devotional with each day having a particular revival spirit. The revelation of these revival spirits is the 'real deal' to receiving and maintaining a volcanic-earth-trembling revival. As a revivalist, Apostle Entsua-Mensah has for each individual Christian and the Church at large the greatest balanced diet on revival.

    FOREWORD

"…make every effort to ADD to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge…For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:5, 8 NIV)

In the above scripture, the Apostle Peter encourages the Church to make every effort to add to our faith; that is certainly what this book is. It is a valuable addition of knowledge to what we have come to hear and know revivals to be. If the Church can add this to what it already has, thereby increasing our measure of knowledge on this all important subject of REVIVAL and how we can receive and maintain the many blessings, manifestations and power of the Holy Spirit, I believe we are going to be productive and effective in our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ like never before.

In this great piece, the author, shares and expounds on how the Church can position herself to receive the revival many of us pray for in the Kingdom. He takes it to a whole different level when he shares how it can be maintained; not only received. Many a time, the Spirit moves strongly among God’s people but we do not know what to do to sustain this grace and pass it on. As I went through this work first hand, the above scripture was what resounded in my spirit the entire time. I assure you that, after you have gone through the pages of this book, you will know, there has been an addition to your destiny; that is what the invaluable revelation shared here is. Make every effort to get this addition! Our generation is blessed to have passionate ministers of God like Samuel Entsua who are passionate about the move of God in this day and age! We thank God for this addition!! Glory be to His name forever!!!

    PREFACE

The force that moves the Christendom is revival. Revival is a great force of which the believer in Christ must not be negligent of. Physicists define force as a physical influence that tends to change the position of an object with mass, equal to the rate of change in momentum of the object. Wherefore revival is that supernatural force which tends to influence the position of the church or an individual with a yoke, a burden, a weight, spiritual barrenness or sin(s) regardless the intense damage accrued.

A revival has the clout to push or pull the church or individual from one stage or phase unto another. Many churches embark on 3 days or 7 days or 14 days or 21 days and etc… prayer and fasting for the sake of revival. These special days set aside by churches and individuals are actually meant to push or pull something from one dimension unto another. No one will embark on 21 days of fasting if they do not mean to cause a shift in state, activity or ministry. The necessity of revival cannot be overemphasized.

Most importantly revival is about bringing life out of that which is dead. Revival is a boon to bring life into anything that suffers death or weakness or decay. To revive is to resurrect. Revival is not, if it does not resurrect. Revival is the best synonym for resurrection – bringing back to life that which is dead or that which suffers death.

In this book we are going to launch into the deep, where we will attend to these spirits of revival which can revolutionize the Christian community and the whole world at large. Revival is supernatural and would not require systematic liturgy but would oblige in entirety strong revival spirits which have the power to affect the supernatural. These spirits of revival I am about to expose to you are the true agents to ignite and sustain revivals; for no true revival can occur without these spirits which are released from the bosom of Holy Ghost.

I pray that you expose yourself unto the spirits of revival as I expose them to you, and your life and church will experience a true revival. I will therefore urge you to not just read but to cry out unto God to release these spirits upon you, for by these resting upon you shall you deeply be revived and well positioned to initiate earth-quaking revivals.

    Day 1

Pray for a spirit of Repentance

Bear fruits that are deserving and consistent with [your] repentance [that is, conduct worthy of a heart changed, a heart abhorring sin]. And do not begin to say to yourselves, We have Abraham as our father; for I tell you that God is able from these stones to raise up descendants for Abraham. (Luke 3:8)

The spirit of repentance is the first most required for true revival to break forth. Without this spirit, revival is unworkable. The spirit of repentance is the spirit which brings about the willingness to change. Repentance does not end after salvation, it continues until immortality consumes mortality; having the ability to willingly change for Christlikeness and to develop a heart that abhors sin. After being born again we still need this spirit to be in operation in our lives. This is so because it is with this spirit that an individual can lay apart every filthiness or sin or weakness or evil addiction or bad company (Jas 1:21; Heb. 12:1; Col. 3:8-10). The spirit of repentance is that which aids in putting off the old man and his deeds.

The ministry of John the Baptist was a ministry of revival which was influenced by
