I decided to write this list of plot hooks and story starters so that aspiring authors and story tellers can find many ideas to build their next story off of. These ideas are intentionally left a little bit vague because the point is that each person can take them and make them unique, their own, and wildly expanded upon. In my mind, the correct response when being presented with plot ideas like the simple ones presented in this book is to ask questions. A story becomes much more enriched, believable, and exciting when you flesh out characters, plot points, and throw in little twists along the timeline from beginning to end. If you find some ideas that you like or excite you in this book, then I’m satisfied.
To help you get started on building your story out, I’ve included a list of questions on the next page so that you can ask yourself about the plot hook in order to start building it out into a full fletched idea. There are no right or wrong answers of course because this is about YOUR story. Happy reading and good luck!

Who are your characters / actors within the story? Try defining a few noticeable traits and personality quirks. Remember that most memorable characters are inherently flawed somehow. (Character Development)
Who is each character at the beginning of the story compared to the end of the story? How have people’s perceptions of them changed throughout? (Character Development)
Why do the main characters care about the events that are occurring
