About this ebook
Thousands of years ago there was a civilization of mound builders in what is now the area around St. Louis on the floodplain of the Mississippi River. Back then it was considered a satellite city of a spiritual and technologically advanced continent in the Pacific called Lemuria. Lemuria was ruled by a group of extraterrestrials we call the tall white beings because of their etheric white appearance.
The Mound Builders is a story about a team of human ambassadors who were sent to the city of the mound builders because a group of power greedy renegades had taken over as rulers and were creating havoc for their own gain. Join Anna and Lucas as they complete their assignment in an attempt to prevent this city of over 300,000 residents from decaying from within as so many civilizations have.
This story explains a time in Lemuria’s history before it slowly sank into the Pacific Ocean. The legends in the book Beneath and Beyond: The Hidden City begin during the disappearance of this great civilization when its people spread to higher ground. These are combined with a modern day story of Bashur, a tall white being from another universe, mentoring Tashi and Althea as they combat the darker side of mankind.

My passion in life is creating. Whether it’s writing or painting, I become totally absorbed in my current project. For instance, when writing, I receive a movie in my head filled with special effects including surround sound. Writing then becomes a process where I transcribe my mental movie into words. The story is all quite real for me because I put myself right into the situations that I feel I’m actually experiencing. My writing goal is to pull you in with me so that you too are hearing, smelling, feeling, tasting and seeing all that is happening as we develop a personal relationship with the characters. My traveling experiences help me to bring an authenticity to the story’s setting and to share the anecdotes of wonderful people I’ve met. From the feedback I have gotten from you, the readers, I think I am succeeding for many have brought Althea and Tashi from the Beneath and Beyond Trilogy off the page and into your lives. You’ve also found a part of yourselves, an alter-ego if you will, in the character Sara of the Sara Connolly Mystery Series. I really appreciate everyone sharing their insights and feelings with myself and others, making this chapter in my life very rewarding. The covers of my books are similarly inspired ... by visions. Having a degree in art, designing the covers gives me an opportunity to bring my visions to life in another form.

Itzu dropped his string of large fish that reminded him of the felines who hunted the trash heaps of the city. The city had grown so much that some of the poorer housing was situated close to the garbage dumping grounds as well as the human burial area. In the same hill as the fish bones were the bones of the deceased indigent people of the sprawling city.
Those are a couple of beauties you caught Itzu. Take one to your mother and take the larger one to the priest,
his father instructed him.
"Why must we always give the best to the priest and the thugs that he surrounds himself with? He takes half our crops and
