About this ebook

The moment Image Consultant Morgan Cox walked into the conference room Derek Wynters knew he had a problem. There was no way he would be able to work with this over-styled, overconfident, over-involved woman. Leaving her in charge of the image of his million-dollar footwear company was definitely out of the question. But the instant she slipped one of her gorgeous feet into his custom designed high tops he knew his real problem wasn't that she was shaking up his company, but that she was shaking up his heart and he was falling hard.

Morgan’s only goal is to help Derek and his company have the best image as they prepare to go public. But when their attraction pushes their relationship past the professional boundaries the company is not the only thing up for public inspection.

As their lives go on display for the world to see Derek and Morgan must both make important decisions about how committed they are to the new relationship growing between them. Will they trust God to work it out or are they safer with their own judgments? And are the emotions that keep pulling them back to each other real or are their feelings only skin deep?

I simply loved this book--it was real, and it didn't shy away from flaws--physical and emotional. But it was wrapped in love and faith, trust and forgiveness. The characters had me in tears, in angry rants, and stretched-wide smiles all throughout. I so admire Morgan and her strength to fight her inner demons. I admire her love and kindness, and ability to put her trust into God and allow Him to show her the way. Derek was at times very frustrating and I found myself going back and forth in my dislike for him. Yet, I held out hope for him, and ultimately, his faith in God made him a character very redeemable and ultimately, lovable. Rhonda Bowen knows how to write in a way that makes the reader really think beyond themselves and reevaluate their own life experiences and inner beauty. I have found a beautiful authors of whom I look forward to reading more work!
