    This is for Major Megan Malia Leilani McClung, USMC, the first female United States Marine Corps officer killed during the Iraq War. She was serving as a public affairs officer in Al-Anbar Province, Iraq, when she was killed on December 6, 2006. She was also the first female graduate of the United States Naval Academy killed in action since the founding of the school in 1845. She was buried in Arlington National Cemetery with full honors.
