TOP Fact #50
When it comes to the legalization of marijuana in the United States of America, David Brooks has been adamantly and openly opposed to America loosening the restrictions on marijuana. In Brooks' opinion, if marijuana were legalized or less restricted, it would encourage people to act in immoral ways. Brooks once admitted to smoking marijuana in his younger years. He gave a presentation in one of his classes while under the influence of marijuana and felt extremely embarrassed, which encouraged him to stop his usage of marijuana.
