      Scotland, 1620

      You will not get away with this, Douglas McKellan threatened as he tested the strength of his cuffs.

      A grin tugged at the Laird Christian McAllistair’s lips as he looked at his prisoner. Don't worry. You'll be home soon enough.

      He hadn't planned on kidnapping the neighboring laird's son, but when he’d found him trespassing, he’d made the best out of the situation.
