    Throughout many years I've used writing as a form of expression whether it's about a true event or something completely made up. Everyone in life has their personal mountains to get passed. During challenging moments of facing my mountains in life, I have picked up a pen and made the choice to allow my creativity to bleed through the pen. I believe we are all blessed in different ways and it's up to us to take action upon our blessings.
    This book is a mixture of poems throughout my life. These are some poems created even before I planned to make a book or even tickle the idea of publishing my work. The way you are able to reach someone with a poem, is a blessing within itself in my opinion. So I hope you enjoy the blessings this book is able to bring you.

      Words stuck behind closed lips as if silence was the answer to it all.

      Many times those that speak out aren’t followed by the wisdom of God.

      How is it that everyone wants to be on top, but are terrified to fall?

      Words that fall upon ears of those that don’t choose to listen.

      So as a result of feeling helpless, many don’t allow their words to ever escape.

      Words are the beautiful strokes that it takes for the picture, one to paint.

      The struggles and pain mixed with the vision is how the glory of God is explained.

      Here face to face, eyes to eyes, and I question when and why..

      Many different struggles that come across, like it’s just searching in the air.

      Waiting to fall upon innocent victims, no matter who seems to feel that it’s fair.

      They say the devil likes to play, and amongst the truth, he mixes the lies.
