About this ebook
Caitlin Vandersson has a problem, and there's only one person that can help...the man called Chance.
This doesn't stop her from being kidnapped right under his nose, less than fifteen minutes after he meets her.
Now, Chance feels honor-bound to gather his friends (well, 'friend'...Chance isn't known for being social) and storm the most impregnable corporate fortress in New Orleans, with only his immortal best friend, a hot-shot hacker and his own powers over the force known as "luck" to help him.
It may not be enough.

Chance Encounter
Twenty-something, cute and dressed in a tight shirt was no way to walk into Big Al's Bar in New Orleans, but the young woman didn't notice every pair of eyes in the place focusing on her as she walked through the door...she had trouble on her mind.
The sound of her heels on the rough wood of the floor was the only sound to be heard as she walked up to the bar, but only because pounding hearts and evil thoughts are silent.
Excuse me?
she said.
Behind the bar, Big Al slowly turned to face her; he had a body like a rhino, a scowl like a Baptist preacher in a strip club parking lot, and a nose like a bloodhound when it came to trouble.
Can I help you, miss?
he said with a warm smile.
I'm looking for a man.
The sound of every chair in the joint sliding back at once was almost deafening; Big Al sprayed a warning look around the room, which stopped a dozen plans for the next few hours dead in their tracks. The customers settled back into their seats, and Big Al returned his gaze to the woman.
Miss, this ain't that kind of establishment.
She looked confused for a moment, then realized what he was implying.
No, I'm looking for a specific man.
The chorus of sliding chairs sang a second verse.
Ma'am,
said Al, glaring around the bar, most of the guys in here would have some very specific ideas about what to do with you, to you and around you, but IF THEY DON'T SIT THEIR ASSES BACK DOWN RIGHT NOW I'M GONNA BRING OUT BO-BO, AND AIN'T NOBODY WANTS THAT! RIGHT!?
The chairs slid back into place, this time with grumbling
