About this ebook
Young nurse Paige is starting a new life in a new city after having her heart smashed to pieces by her best friend and her boyfriend.
She's sworn off men, so it seems perfect that the only man in her life is bed bound. He is the perfect patient, and the perfect man for her, except he can’t move a muscle.
Marcus was a former college tennis star until he was struck down by a virus, and has now lost all movement in his body. He is ready to give up on life, never thinking he will ever be loved or made love to again.
But soon the angelic Paige begins to wake him up; mind, soul, and body. As their connection grows, Paige must decide how far she will actually go to heal her patient.
Personal Attention combines eroticism with touching romance and humor. Sexy, thoughtful, and contagious, this is the book for all of those who have a healer within them or want one inside them.

Personal Attention - Jessamine Lane
Chapter One
Paige
eal Swirl Clip ArtPaige stood outside the door of the house and listened as footsteps came towards her.
Who is it?
asked the voice from inside.
It’s Paige McGuire, from the nursing agency,
she said and straightened her nurses uniform.
This was her first real nursing job from leaving college, and while it wasn’t as glamorous as a hospital, it was still a job and she was grateful. So many of her friends were still searching for work.
She had joined a nursing agency straight after graduating, and it had only taken a week for them to call her and say they had a position for her. She would be looking after a man in his home who was incapacitated and needed help with every task.
Guillian Barre Syndrome they said, or Locked In Syndrome as some of her nursing books described the illness.
Her patient was completely incapacitated, but he could talk a little, but he could nothing else for himself.
Paige was required to wash him, administer medications, read to him, feed him, and even change him.
There were night nurses and weekend nurses, but she would be on her own on the weekdays.
And that was all she knew.
Nerves filled her tiny frame as the door opened and a woman in plain black dress and pearls stared at her.
"You’re Paige?’ she asked, looking her up and down.
Yes M’am, I am,
said Paige, smoothing down her blonde hair, and pulling back her shoulders in an attempt to make herself taller.
The woman sniffed at her.
I’m Mrs. Kline, Marcus’s mother,
she said, walking very fast down an elegant hallway.
Mother? Paige thought. She had assumed it would be the husband. How old was her son?
The house had looked pleasant form the outside, but the inside was a part art gallery, part hospital equipment storage facility. Three types of mobility chairs stood in the hallway, along with surgical trays of equipment, and paintings covering every wall.
This is a lovely home,
said Paige politely.
The woman didn’t answer as she opened the door to a room.
Marcus the new nurse is here,
she said.
The room was large, as big as a sitting room, thought Paige. Perhaps it had been one before he became ill? She wondered as she saw more art, and a hospital bed in the center of the room.
The bed was flat and a body was shrouded under a white sheet.
God help me, thought Paige, wishing the agency had sent her to a simple job like a children’s vaccination clinic or a baby health check. Anything but this!
Mrs. Kline was standing next to the bed, ‘She’s tiny, she won’t be able to lift you, I don’t know why they sent her."
Paige frowned as she walked behind Mrs. Kline and looked down at the bed.
A pillow of messy dark hair met her first, then piercing blue eyes that blinked at her.
Hi, I’m Paige,
she said ignoring his mother.
Marcus,
he whispered.
She smiled at him and met his eyes with hers and they held contact.
She wanted to tell him she would do her best to help him. That she had wanted to be a nurse her whole life, and now she was twenty-one, she had graduated near the top of her class and she
