Beginning in 1972, Gifford sang on Oral Roberts' tv program broadcast from Burbank, California, and took a trip throughout the Bible Belt going to revival conferences. Gifford rapidly came to be aware of the control passing behind Roberts' captivating veneer and left of the university throughout her junior year. Experiencing her really own format of spiritual awakening, Gifford used the rest of her scholarship cash to lease an apartment in Tulsa. There she invested a few weeks scribbling down her spiritual thoughts, which she eventually launched as The Quiet Riot in 1976.

      Kathryn Lee Epstein was born on August 16, 1953, in Paris, France; Kathie Lee Gifford spent many years pursuing an occupation as a Christian musician. She was welcomed to Good Morning America when a manufacturer heard her host an A.M. radio show. She signed up with Regis Philbin on The Morning Show in 1985, and the duo came to be an instant hit for their banter and chemistry. She now co-hosts the Today tv program with Hoda Kotb.

      Her dad, Aaron Leon Epstein, was an American naval policeman and weekend jazz saxophonist, and her mother, Joan (nee Cuttell), was a previous naval assistant turned radio artist.
