    After far too many years in a 9 to 5 cube farm job, Cameron Townsend decided it was time to fulfill the lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Fascinated by vampires and the supernatural since first seeing the 1931 movie "Dracula" at the age of 9, the genre was a natural choice. In 2014, Cameron began The Lenore Grey Novels series, which follow Lenore Grey through her life in flashbacks as an aristocratic young girl in early 18th century England to part-vampire owner of several art galleries in present day America. Not for fans of modern slash and dice movies, despite the subject matter, which blends the supernatural with science fiction, the stories are character driven and endeavor toward realism in action and in every day situations. Along with writing, Cameron, a fourth generation native Californian, enjoys reading, traditional jazz and classical music, gourmet cooking, growing orchids, watching old movies and rousing games of Scrabble.
