About this ebook
Have you ever sold a home and paid thousands of dollars in commissions and then wondered why you paid that money out when you only saw your Realtor for maybe twenty hours over those weeks?
Do you really think it would be nice to have a job where you could become a Realtor and be on the golf course every day in the summer? Go overseas on a nice two week vacation in Europe every year? Or maybe the thought of staying local in the nice cabin you could buy up north on the lake is more attractive.
Just looking at Realtors most people see the power suits, a nice car and a life style that is amazing.
Have you thought about going into Real Estate as a profession yourself?
Before you go off and start taking courses you need to see a bit more of the industry. You need to know the correct questions to ask and this will give you those along with a bit more information.
Thinking about hiring a Realtor to help you buy or sell a home? Feeling like you should only pay $500 to list your home for sale because Realtors don’t really “do” anything?
Read this and get a better understanding of what Realtors do and the other unseen side of Real Estate.

Born and raised in Grimsby, Ontario Tom grew up in a century home enjoying the open space of living on a fruit farm. He began writing as a youth but then put it aside. After College then University for Business Tom worked as an instructor. In 2005 he followed in the family footsteps and went into Real Estate. After several years working away at learning the different elements of Real Estate focusing on residential and first time home buyers Tom mentored his first new Realtor. There are so many things that people who want to go into real estate do not know or understand. New realtors often waste a great deal of time on the wrong activities. This was frustrating. A licenced Realtor, A serving member of the Canadian Forces Reserve for over 26 years, married with 2 great small boys. Life is busy. The different books and massively different genres? All different facets to Tom's personality. His personal motto? "STAY POSITIVE!" Enjoy the books and check out the website for more information.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
My work would never be finished if I did not have assistance from others. Sometimes it is a kick in the rear, sometimes it is a kind word.
Thank you to my mom (past Realtor, sales trainer and critic), and Robin Schroffel for editing this work and the kind words that kept me going.
Thanks to Angie Zambrano, who created the front cover - keep up the good work!
To Jenn, my wife, who was not in love with my writing this but who nevertheless left me to work in the dark hours when everyone else was sleeping so that I could get this project out of my head.
To those of you who are considering becoming a Realtor, I hope that as you read this you
