    To get the most out of this book, I would suggest that you have a few important study tools with you. First, you need the Bible. Do not use a version that is a paraphrase of the scriptures. The NASB, NIV, or NKJV are suitable. I would also suggest that you invest in a Strong’s Concordance, and an interlinear bible computer. JP Green’s One Volume Interlinear Bible is one of the best. You can get all three tools relatively cheap at Christianbook.com. I am not endorsing, nor getting paid for mentioning this website. I merely do so because that is where I have found the best prices for these important tools. If you would rather use the computer for your studies, download a free program from E-Sword. This free program has an interlinear and concordance within it. Another great tool is the Aramaic-English New Testament which can be purchased from Netzari Press LLC.

    Most scripture quotations found in this book were taken from the HOLY BIBLE, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION. Copyright c 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society. Used by permission of Zondervan Publishing House.

    *Throughout this book you will see the name of God as YHVH or YHWH. The ancient Hebrew did not have vowels and at times interchanged the V and the W. Know that either one is referring to the personal name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Creator of all the universe.

    You will also see the names Jesus and Yeshua used interchangeably throughout the book. Yeshua is the actual Hebrew name of our Savior.

    This book is the shortened tale of a long journey that has taken place over a few decades. Most of what happened on that journey was neither spectacular in nature, nor very noteworthy. It took place a day at a time over the years of my life. It was a steady, quiet, persistent journey that continued with each step I took in my life, and continues today. I did not realize, at the time, that each step was directed by God to bring about something in His plan. I was simply living life.

    It began when my parents first took me to church and Sunday school. I had only been in the world a very short time when my parents took me to church. Every Sunday they attended church and my birth was not going to change that. They simply took me with them and expected that it would become part of my life as well.

    Since that day, I grew up going to church and Sunday school every time the doors were open. Very few times did we miss attending church. It was just expected that we were to be there to worship, learn, and fellowship. It was who we were.

    I have very fond memories of church and the corresponding activities in which I participated. Everything from Vacation Bible School, to youth group, to summer mission trips, to Bible Bowl were just activities that I enjoyed as I grew up in the church. Little did I know they were each steps on a journey I could never have foreseen.

    There is so much to the journey, but it was all a part of something bigger. Each experience, each new understanding, each new part of the Word committed to my heart was merely a thread being woven together to bring about something that was never expected. I was comfortable in the life I lived. I was living to please God the way I had been taught. Though I often questioned if there was something more, I did not choose to get out of my comfort zone. I was a Christian and I knew all I needed in life. At least that is what I thought.

    Over a decade ago, this journey took an unexpected path. Along that path I questioned many things. Most times I was shrugged off, ignored, or given lame excuses without any scripture to truly back up what I was told. This book is a result of having to learn what the Word truly says and how to defend it when talking to others who do not understand and are all too ready to give lame excuses for not looking further into the identity and heritage that God intended for His people. This book came from a great deal of serious study as I had to learn who I was, what I truly believed, and how to back it up with the Word of God.

    This journey is hardly over. It will continue throughout the rest of my life. I hope if you are at a crossroads in your journey with God that my experience may help you decide to seek out the road less traveled. This road has been blocked by man-made doctrines and by those working with the Anti-Messiah. The road where God leads His children is never expected or truly comfortable. But, the narrow road is the best and high road that will take us to the place He wants us to be at all points in our lives in this life and in the next. Stick to the road map (The Word) and trust your guide. He is faithful.

    This book is dedicated to:

    My parents, to whom I owe a huge thank you for teaching me to love and to obey God in all things;

    Odra Pratt, Lorene Brazell, and Donna Kuhnley for encouraging my studies of scripture; Ann Halford who taught me to hide His word in my heart that I might not sin against Him;

    Grandpa Arlie and Grandma Nita who were able to teach His word to me through their love and emotional support, and were never afraid to sit down to study with me when I challenged a doctrine or thinking.

    Grandma Flora for her many years of dedicated prayer for me; and to the Holy Spirit of YHVH which has opened my eyes that I may see wonderful things in the Torah of God.

    May this book please and honor my Creator and Savior.

    A special thank you to all those who have helped get this book into the hands of as many people as possible. Our first printing was only 500 books, but I was overwhelmed by the number of people who contacted me after reading the book. There is a hunger out there for this message and so many wonderful people have helped with bringing about a second and larger printing of the book. Thank you to all who ordered more books in advance, donated finances, donated time for editing and interpreting the book into other languages, and ensured that this book is available to those who need and want this message. Thank you most of all to YHWH for even allowing me to be His vessel in His work.

    The Bride

    Once upon a time there lived a slave girl who had nothing to her name and nothing to offer anyone else. She often dreamed of being freed from slavery, but that just seemed to be a dream, nothing truly possible. Yet, one day, the Great and Mighty King of another Kingdom saw the slave girl and chose her to become his bride. The slave girl hardly dared believe that his proposal could be true, but she agreed to become his bride.

    The King gave his new bride a magnificent ring to wear upon her hand that told the whole world to whom she belonged. She accepted that ring and wore it with awe. The King also gave the girl a breathtaking gown to wear for the wedding. There was no other gown in all the kingdoms of the world that compared to the one the King gave his new bride. It was made with the finest of silk and lace, and had precious gems sewn into the gown. The train on the gown was breathtaking! All who saw the gown were amazed and realized just how special the King was who had chosen this girl for his bride.

    Before many witnesses the King and his new bride promised to remain true to one another all the days of their lives. They even verbally agreed to a written contract that stated how each would live and please the other in their marriage. The King left this contract with the bride and told her that he had to go back to his kingdom to prepare a special place for her to live. He promised that as soon as the mansion was ready for her he would be back for her. Then they would consummate the marriage and live together forever. He asked her to continue to wear the ring and gown that he had given her until he returned for her. He wanted the world to know that she was his and his alone. She agreed.

    Much time went by as the bride waited patiently for her King to return for her. She began to wonder how long it was going to take for him to finish the mansion he was building for her. The bride lived following the instructions that her King had left her. He had told her that following them would please Him and would bless others around her. But, her King was taking so long to return for her.

    Eventually, a young man who claimed to be from the King himself came into the village. This young man told the young bride that he had been sent by the King and was there to help her in her wait for the King. The young man wore the same colors that the King had worn and spoke in a manner very similar to the King. Others in the village told the young bride that she should definitely listen to this man who claimed to be an ambassador from her King.

    Over a span of time, the young man had convinced the bride to take off her magnificent wedding ring and replace it with one much inferior to the original. He told her that the original ring was no longer relevant and was not for the true bride of the King. She was swayed and took off the original ring. She then replaced it with the one offered by the young man and believed that he was speaking truth when he told her it was better and less oppressive to wear than the original.

    Eventually, the young man also began to tell the bride that her gown was a burden to wear and that her King no longer desired for her to be burdened with something so heavy. He cut off the train of the gown. He then cut off various pieces of the gown where the precious stones were sewn into it. Again, he explained that these were too heavy for the young bride to continue to wear. He replaced the pieces he cut out with various other fabrics. Soon, the lace was also cut off and replaced with sackcloth that didn’t feel quite right to the bride. But, she believed that this young man was truly a representative from her King and knew what would truly please the King.

    After the young man had taken away from and added to the gown that the bride wore, he then began teaching her that she only needed to follow a select few of the instructions originally left by the King. The young man told her that the King had realized what a load it was to place upon her to make her work so hard to please him and to bless others. The young man told her that all she had to do was claim the Name of her King and be sure to love the King with her heart and not worry about doing certain
