About this ebook
Down to my last $75 after leaving the military, I had no idea how I was going to pay the bills! So I turned to the internet, like many others, in hopes of finding a temporary source of income. I found what I was looking for in Fiverr.com, and it turned into much more than I'd ever anticipated. Not only did it keep me from being homeless, but in a few short months, I made more on Fiverr per month than I'd made after seven years in the military. Written for those with little or no experience on Fiverr, this book explains exactly how it happened - with no hype, no "get rich quick" claims, and no shiesty selling techniques. Just the truth about how you can create a quality service on Fiverr that provides a real income!

Be a Fiverr Top Seller - Rebecca Schwab
Introduction
Are you trying to sell gigs on Fiverr.com and not having much success? Or maybe you've never heard of it and are looking for a way to make extra money?
For example, you’re a stay at home mom and can’t go to a regular job every day. Or you’re a college student who can only work off hours. Or maybe, like I was, you’re unemployed and need to bring money in. Soon!
Thanks to the amazing reach of the Internet, being the boss of your own small business is well within reach. Fiverr.com gives you the ability to work as much or as little as you want, on your own time, and to make great money doing it - and usually, for a minimal investment. As in, smallest business start up costs EVER.
When I started on Fiverr in August 2014, I was unemployed and down to my last $75. By January 2015, I averaged about $3,000 a month, with one gig and no real marketing on my part.
I’m not some sort of Internet guru. Beyond the gigs I have on Fiverr’s website, I’m not otherwise affiliated with the company (they aren’t paying me to write this!). I'm not a marketer. I'm not a slick salesman – not by a long shot. I’m not going to make any claims that you’ll be a millionaire after two months on Fiverr. Who knows! Maybe you will. And if so, that would be amazing! By all means, if that happens to you, write a book and tell me how you did it.
This book is not about scamming people with low quality gigs, or outsourcing, or reselling Fiverr gigs, or doing anything else that someone might promise will earn you millions on Fiverr for basically no work. You’ll have to look elsewhere for that information – I know it’s out there.
I'm just a normal person with limited computer skills who had decent success creating and selling a high quality gig I’m truly passionate about. In this book, I'm going to show you exactly what I do to get those results.
We'll talk about what Fiverr is and how to create a Fiverr gig, for anyone who may be new to it. Next, we'll focus on how to take your gig - literally - to the next level. I was a level one seller in August 2014, and went up to Top Seller by October 2014, so I know how to make it happen. We’ll talk about how to find (and keep) great customers and deal with bad ones. And I’ll give you my personal best tips on how to leverage your Fiverr income and make a great living from it, all while providing superior value and an awesome deal to your customers.
Our goal here will be to take your gig, or gigs, from whatever level you're at, to Top Seller in just a few months. All of this assuming you’ll offer a high quality gig and aren't looking to scam people out of their money. If I could name my book something else, it would be How To Not Be A Sheisty Seller On Fiverr.
That position is filled to the max!
Since you’ve read this far, I will assume you are not sheisty. Hurray! Buckle in, because I’m about to show you how you can bring in real money with just a $5 gig.
What is Fiverr?
Fiverr is an ecommerce website that allows you to sell a good or service for $5. And of course, that's where it gets its name.
What can you sell on Fiverr? If you go to the website, at the top, you'll see a drop down menu showing lots of categories for digital products - graphics and design, online marketing, video and animation, music and audio, and more. When it comes to actual gigs, I’ve seen everything from logo designing and video testimonials, to puppet skits, to personalized jingles, to distance Reiki, to images of designs in coffee foam (from a Top Seller, no less…), to pretty girls who want to help you get back at your ex-girlfriend. For a fee, of course!
I've also seen gigs where people make items, like jewelry, that they then mail to you. The sky is the limit in terms of what you want to put out there and sell.
The trick to making money on Fiverr is to create a gig like this at a very basic level that you sell for $5, but to then offer amazing gig extras that hook in the customer because they add real value to your product. We'll talk more about this later.
I’ve had a gig on Fiverr since August 2014 offering professional voice-over services – 50 words for $5. At the time I started working with Fiverr, I was newly unemployed, so I had the time, and the motivation, to work on polishing my gig to perfection and responding to people right away. If you don’t have that kind of time, plenty of the tips I’ll mention in this book will work for you even if this is only going to be a part time venture for you.
Fiverr.com was launched in 2010 and by mid 2013, offered over 3 million services. The actual numbers are kept private, for whatever reason, but Fiverr has millions of users (both buyers and sellers) from all over the world. The site is ranked among the top 100 most popular sites in the US and top 150
