    Within a few days of his Sept. 7th, 2013 victory as Australia's new Prime Minister, Tony Abbott appointed his cabinet: all-male bar one woman. Australia now has fewer women in positions of political power than Afghanistan. And: the man who fought to prohibit abortion drugs, limit pregnancy counseling to Catholic moral centers and refused to endorse a sexual health campaign for women that led to decreases in cervical cancer made himself head of Women's Policies and Platforms in Australia.

Inc. and Bloomsbury Academic in the USA and collected by such as Yale University Library, the British Film Institute and the national libraries of Australia and China. He is also an experimental ethnographic filmmaker whose digital feature films are collected by the NFSA and soon to be released on Video-on-Demand and whose short videos about living and working in China can be found on his YouTube channel.
