This is the longest book so far in The Zombie Chronicles at nearly 80,000 words. Blurb: My name is Dean Walters and I'm eighteen years old. This is book 8. Deans continues to fight in the land of the undead. Armed with the vials and precious notes they need for the cure, the group gets ready to say goodbye to Fairport. When Dean realizes Val is staying with Max, he's devastated. Things only get worse when he is suddenly kidnapped. Nick, Lucas, and Val will stop at nothing to find him. Dean discovers a new kind of evil and vows to defeat it.

When a deluded scientist, a crazy gang leader, and Max all butt heads, chaos is bound to arise. Armed conflict develops among the rivals fighting each other for the control of Fairport, the safest city to be in the zombie apocalypse.
