About this ebook

Bright light and the loud crashing waves on rocks caused the child to stir. Stiff and cold, soaking wet from lying in the surf, the small child of no more than three summers opened her eyes slowly. C. Borden

C. Borden fell in love with fantasy and science fiction as a young girl first through the works of Frank Herbert, Tolkein, Terry Brooks, and R.A. Salvatore, then later by Robert Jordan, George R. R. Martin, Neil Gaiman, David Gemmell, and many more. Having extensive experience as a Freelance Author and Ghostwriter for over six years, C. Borden finally decided to put her own stories on paper and let her imagination run wild. Drawing inspiration from her favorite authors, author colleagues, as well as family, friends, and from various places she has traveled, her works include lifelike characters, places readers wish they could visit, and story lines that pull the reader in and wanting more. C. Borden is a business owner, wife, and mother. She enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and dabbles in nature photography. When she is not following her passion in storytelling, she is most likely enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, or curled up with a good book from one of her favorite authors.
