Oher experienced fantastic success in 2004. A popular football user, he received first group All-America honors from USA Today and was provided the possibility to play in the U.S. Army All-America Bowl. He additionally accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Mississippi after getting offers from Tennessee, LSU, Alabama and NC State, amongst others.     Michael Oher: A Life of Triumph

    Michael Oher was born on May 28, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee. He originated from a defective home and his estranged dad was killed while Oher was in senior high school. Sean and Leigh Ann Tuohy became Oher's legal guardians and he developed into an university football star and a top NFL draft option. Oher's story was told in Michael Lewis's book The Blind Side and the Sandra Bullock film of the extremely Ñame name.

    His father Michael Jerome Williams, Sr. and his mom, Denise Oher, offered their children with little to no support. Michael, Sr. was frequently in prison, and Denise was addicted to break medicine. As a result, Michael, Jr. was in-and-out of foster houses and routinely homeless. He also did incorrectly as a pupil, replicating first grade and 2nd grade and visiting 11 various schools throughout his first nine years as a pupil. Oher's estranged father, was murdered while Oher was a senior in senior high school.

    The young boy was lastly absorbed by Sean and Leigh Ann Tuohy when he was 16, and the Tuohys became Oher's legal guardians when he was 17. In his junior year, Oher began to master football. By the start of his
