The facts presented in "Secrets by the Bay" drastically differ from the Aisenberg’s story. Hidden truths that were never publicly disclosed, combined with circumstantial evidence, suggest that the phone call to 911 was part of an elaborate cover up and Baby Sabrina did not mysteriously vanish from her crib at home on November 24th.

"Secrets by the Bay" sheds new light on the famous case which still mystifies law enforcement and pundits all over the country. This true story gives accurate details and descriptions of things he heard, and things he saw, after the little girl's disappearance, and his conversations with the investigating detectives. It's a fascinating read for all fans of true crime books.

Marty continues to do what he can to help find missing children. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Secrets by the Bay is a true crime story that must be told. In this explosive tell-all expose, you find a book that could only be chronicled by an eyewitness like its author. This book will provide you the needed insight and possibly a reason the disappearance of Sabrina Paige Aisenberg has not been solved since 1997.

I find it more than apropos to dedicate Secrets by the Bay to Cynthia Ann Beheler, my first wife. A lot of my drive and motivation for completing this book came from the memory of her sweet and loving spirit. As long as the good Lord gives me the ability to reason and the strength to carry on, I will continue to pursue justice on her behalf. For the time being, I will find solace looking at the moon in order to visualize her approving face.

Chapter One: A SECRET is BORN

The tropical setting is Tampa Bay, Florida, located in the middle district of Florida, the peninsula state. Sitting on the Gulf of Mexico, the bay area is home to over three million people and an NFL football team named The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Plenty of sunshine, bright sandy beaches and palm trees have been a welcome sign for vacationers throughout the decades. Almost everyone here enjoys the mild weather and blue skies. If you want to relax, why not dine at one of the many fine restaurants and enjoy a variety of fresh fish, crabs, clams, oysters, scallops, shrimp or lobster.

It's a great place for the sports enthusiasts to go boating, skiing and saltwater fishing. You could land a red fish, shark, a game fish, like a snook or a big hundred-pound tarpon just to name a few of the popular catches. The fish are everywhere in the bay. You can go miles out to the deepest water or stay close near the shore, where the small fries like glass minnows and blue crabs are plentiful in the shallow mangrove areas. It's an isolated section where the murky water collects into the estuaries blending in amongst the entangled complex root of the Florida mangrove tree.

Not unlike the mangrove trees, there are certain people in Tampa Bay that have harbored pieces of a dirty esoteric secret. It's been safely kept out of sight, hidden deep, buried in the cold mired muck, preserved and densely protected, for the past twenty years. That is until now.

Let's begin on a somber day more than four decades ago. I sat in the plush downtown office of a criminal defense attorney, not to be named. He was the mouthpiece for the reputed mafia kingpin Santo Trafficante Jr. It was at first intimidating to sit across from this powerful mafioso attorney, as he sat relaxed in his high-back swivel chair, that was tightly upholstered in rich Corinthian leather. He had all the trappings, which advertised his successful career. His office was in full view, conveniently located directly across the street, steps away from the bustling courthouse, with his own private parking for two.

Looking around the plushily carpeted room, I noticed two small pieces of art that were hanging side by side on the dark wood tone walls, which insulated the dimly lit office, creating his inner sanctum. Neither of these memorable works held any intrinsic value, but both are etched in my mind. The first piece was a framed caricature portrait of this highly successful mafia lawyer, sporting his trademark moustache. In place of his lips and mouth, the clever artist drew a tightly closed zipper. The zipped-up mouth represented the creed of silence this mob lawyer must live by on a daily basis; the horrible details of horrendous crimes that he must keep secret. Secrets that are locked up in his soul all will go to the grave with him. Hanging on the wall next to this symbolic caricature was an elongated plaque with a poignant message. The lettering was in old English style text, each letter burned deep into the stained wood. The proclamation read, Two men can keep a secret….only if one is dead. Whenever you're in bed with the mob, ensuring secrets are never exposed is a daily routine. Often a matter of life and death for those holding them and anyone that stumbles upon them by chance. Keeping the dirty secrets buried, along with the many fingers of liabilities attached requires a special kind of inside help, only received after cash up front.

In Secrets by the Bay there are several characters that ban together, in an effort to cover up a dastardly and unnatural act, performed by one member of this diverse tight-lipped group of secret keepers. The dark secret involves the mysterious disappearance of an innocent four-month-old baby, named Sabrina Paige Aisenberg. Where is Baby Sabrina? She supposedly vanished from her crib on November 24th,1997. The who did what, when and where are in the hidden truths; all will be exposed in this book. There are many theories as to why, only one will be shared in this book. Who can say what's in someone's mind? The motive isn’t necessary to establish, in a murder case.

The darkest part of the secret, is what was done with a four-month-old infant and the insane cover up after she disappeared. Wait until the final chapter to decide for yourself if you believe a corrupt power, in a high place, deliberately stymied the investigation and abruptly shut it down at its peak. The ostensible truth revealed and collaborated by witnesses, all behind closed doors was known only to a select few. They had all the puzzle pieces they needed in 2007. A little more follow up and the case could have been prosecuted. That is why this crime has gone unpunished, with the guilty parties free. It’s a carefully guarded secret, for over two decades now. Somebody with the authority to make the decision to prosecute or not, pulled the plug after they had collaborating information by informants. They kept it a secret. Let’s start from the beginning and set the stage, so we can take a glimpse of where this mystery all began.

Steve and Marlene Aisenberg are a married couple who were living in Valrico, Florida, a suburb located near Tampa. From outward appearances they both seemed happily married. Marlene had a four-month-old baby girl named Sabrina. They have two other children, a four-year old named Monica and an eight-year-old son named William, along with a family dog named Brownie. On November 24, 1997, at approximately 6:42 a.m. Marlene called 911 and told the dispatcher, her baby, Sabrina, was missing from her crib. Eighteen minutes later a deputy sheriff was at the front door of the Aisenberg’s home. The house is located on the neatly kept, sidewalk-lined, cul
