A few years ago I started to write and publish short stories using a variety of pen names. In 2011, I wrote and published over a million words. I write using over a dozen pen names and have published over 700 titles that represent over 1,500 short stories, novellas and plays. My works cover 8 of the 10 categories of the Dewey Decimal system. If you had a list of the most prolific short story writers in all of human history I would easily fit in the top ten - and that is only from the last five years of my output as a writer. Recently I turned my hand to writing science fiction. I love imagining what might be in the future, but it may not always be rosy so you tend not to see the hero saving the world on the last page on my stories. For those looking for sci fi short movie ideas, why don't you try some of my ebooks? There are plenty of new and innovative concepts to discover. Speaking of discoverying... I recently discovered that I am genetically a Saami. I suspect part of that identity, and the thousands of years of isolation from humankind in my genes, also comes out in some of my stories. I write quickly, to tell a simple and entertaining story. I imagine we are sitting around the camp-fire in an era long gone. The story should be sharp and to the point so that it is memorable. I don't believe in filling 300 pages with mindless waffle. I don't plan my stories - I put my fingers on the keyboard and let them tell the story - the ending often unfolds from my fingertips without even thinking what it might be. My favourite sci-fi short stories of the ones I have published so far? I really enjoyed writing 2094, it had been forming in my mind for many years. In 2012, the cover of 2094 was sent to the edge of space on a hot air balloon and then returned - that was a great thrill. The Multiverse Traveler is another favourite and I am tempted to continue on with it into other stories. May I recommend, Androgyne, a recent addition to my bookshelf and a story I thoroughly enjoyed telling, and Avatar Gods which just felt amazing to write. I love the emotion it generates. It really adds to the atmosphere if you listen to the songs mentioned in the story. I also have experimented with putting music to my works, my series Fembot Wars has an album of music set to the theme of the ebook series. I have published the songs under the name of an avatar I created, a musical pen name. I recently began to write short plays for the ten minute play market, I hope you enjoy them. They are usually funny and to the point! Finally, I enjoy listening to music as I write, it provides the stimulation for moods. Here is my writing playlist on Youtube, for those interested... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3ir9HC9vYg&list=PLJhp5_YdP2W5elxXaHTxZVoUxDNmW_W89 For more information and to contact me, go to my website which is listed below.

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    THE CALL CENTRE CRUISE

    EROS

He stood there quietly in the middle of the room, the view outside the window drawing his attention on this cold, winter’s morning.

He watched, mesmerised, as the large white flakes tumbled on their journey from the heavens. It was a beautiful sight, so peaceful, so calming. He loved watching snow falling, he could never get enough of it.

There was no wind, no sound outside, just the white flakes of snow drifting towards the ground.

He smiled as he watched nature’s peaceful show, a calmness in his soul spreading throughout, his gaze fixed upon the view beyond the window.

As he followed the falling flakes with his eyes he reflected on his past year.

He remembered Rachel, the former work colleague who had turned out to be far more than a mere mortal.

He remembered how he had brought her there to his room, how he had modelled her a new body, how he had shown her so much about his time travelling ways.

And he remembered how he had needed to deceive her so that he could put an end to the danger she represented before it was too late.

He had dealt with her, finally, and she was now a lost soul in that place humans would call Hell. She would never leave there, she would be trapped for all time. He nodded to himself, it was better for her to be left there in that way.

But the incident with Rachel had left him feeling lifeless inside. It had drained him, tired him. He knew he had to move on, he knew he needed to continue on his journey of seeking out groups of humans and making their dreams come true.

Eros wiped a tear from his eye and then looked into the vacant middle of the room, the middle of the room where Rachel had once stood naked as he had modelled her new existence. Now she was gone. He sighed.

His eyes again moved to the snow outside.

It was unusual for it to snow in this town, and yet it had snowed heavily all morning and there was now up to a foot of snow on the ground outside. There was even snow piled up against the window ledge.

He felt it was an omen for him.

He felt the snow brought a cleansing, that it was time for him to brush away the past and move forward, to sweep everything clean again.

He took a deep breath and resolved to once again locate a group of humans and to help them find peace within themselves, and to help them live out their dreams.

Yes, it was time to move on, time to move forward, time for a new chapter in his life.

Eros stood up and walked out of the room.

He moved down the corridor and opened the sliding door to his back patio.

The cold air rushed in. He loved it, it was bracing, invigorating.

He stepped outside into the morning gloom and walked out onto the crunching snow on the path. He stretched out his arms and stood there, the cold snow falling around him, upon him, all over him.

He loved it, he loved snow. It was so beautiful, so white, and so pure.

Yes, it was time to move on, he knew it was true. He needed the adventure and challenge of a new group of humans. He needed to continue his good work.

Some saw him as a time traveller, others considered him a god. But in many ways he was a Dream Maker.

He picked up the morning newspaper and looked for his next challenge – he had soon found it. He smiled.

    THE PUB

The rain was pounding down on the roof of the hotel, the patrons inside knocking back their drinks whilst barely able to hear each other talking.

But above the din of Mother Nature’s downpour, there was one voice more clearly audible. A young man stood in the middle of a group of friend’s, he spoke with passion, with animation as he told them his latest tale.

I am telling you, continued Jase, they are going to build a Call Centre here in town. It is going to be huge and will employ just about anyone who wants a job. It will be fantastic but above all else it will be an absolute haven for picking up chicks. Imagine all the hot chicks who are going to be working there! I have heard about call centres before. All the good looking women, all the sexy women work there. For someone like me it will be heaven, I will just be picking up chicks so easily all day, they will flock to me like a magnet!

    Some of the group laughed.

Yeh sure, Jase, sure you are a chick magnet. Like, in your dreams!

The others laughed again as they listened to the young woman respond.

Don’t laugh, I tell you. I am a total slut. The chicks will love me, they always do. You know they coined the term slut after me? Yes, they did, sure enough! The word slut was invented to describe me.

The others laughed again. They were used to this and were happy to go along with it. They were surprised that on a night like this they could even hear him.

So, you going to get a job then in this new call centre, Jase? enquired one of his friends.

"Yeh, I reckon I will. They will take one look at my resume and I will be in, I am management material, you know. They will want me, I will go up the ladder quickly and the girls will all throw themselves at me! It will be just like it
