"Be Audacious" reads like one long (too long) motivational pep talk. The book in language and style is targeted to twentysomethings (a twenty-six year-old wrote the foreword). The message, however, is appropriate for anyone wanting to live an authentic life. Mr. Leach is honest about his own struggles to live audaciously and illustrates his lessons by sharing from his own life experiences. The book is as much (or more) autobiography as it is self-help. A practical aspect of the text is the exercises at the end of each chapter. The recommended practices are simple, but that is what makes them powerful. The book contains an important message by someone who strives to live it.
