About this ebook
Did you ever notice when you were in school that some students did better than others when it came to tests or exams? Now why do you think that was so? Were these students any smarter than you? Not really. So why then did they do better than you?
The answer is simple. It takes a certain skill set to become a good student. Some people believe, simply because they don't know any better, that it is just a matter of intelligence. Baloney! As I said it takes a certain skill set. For example it requires that you do not just listen to the teacher, but that you take good notes. The emphasis here is on the word "good" notes. It also requires that you do your homework in a conducive setting where you are not distracted, where you are comfortable (not too comfortable) and where you can focus on what you are trying to learn.
In this book, the author teaches you how to study. Very few students are fortunate enough to learn all these skills. That is why those who know these skills generally do better than the students who never even heard of them.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:Hi. My name is Fredy K. Seidel and I am the author of various Self Help How-to-E-Books.In case you haven't noticed, we live in very difficult times. Some say we are living in a depression , others say we are living in a recession. I believe that we are living in the midst of a revolution, a socio-economic revolution and many of us are in deep doody.I have been around the block a few times. If it hadn't been for the help of others, I would not be here to communicate with you. Now it is payback time. Now it is my turn to help others, YOU.I am Jewish and very proud to be so. In Judaism we have a concept. It is called "TIKKUN OLAM". "Repairing the world". Well, if God could create the Universe and everything in it, then God doesn't need my help! So our sages tell us to touch one life while we are on earth. Others say touch one life a day. I have touched thousands of lives in my lifetime. Now that times have become difficult again, I am on a mission. I want to help you. I want to give you advice which you don't generally learn in school but which is so necessary and so important to get to live a better life than you have now.So, if I am on a mission then why don't I just give these e-books away for free? Simple. One of the lessons I have learned is that if you give advice away for free, nobody listens. If I make you pay a nominal fee, chances are that you may read my e-book at least once. But my friend, don't just read this book, implement it and put it to practical use. There is a ton of proven, practical and helpful information here, which you can apply to your life and make life better for yourself and those around you.I hope that your desire to change your life for the better is real and that you are serious, that you have the burning fire in your belly which will move you to act. If you do apply the advice and find it helpful, please don't just tell others one or two pieces of the advice, encourage them to also buy some of these books. I want to leave behind a legacy and make an impact on the lives of others.Fredy K. Chapter I
Introduction
Generally speaking there are two kinds of rewards in life. The first is a monetary reward for the work you do. The second is self gratification or fulfillment. The monetary reward is the type of payment or salary you receive for your work. Gratification or fulfillment means that you like what you are doing, that you enjoy it and that you feel good and proud about the contribution you are making to society.
The more educated you are the easier it will be for you to eventually earn a good living, to become financially independent and to enjoy many of the pleasures life has to offer (and there are plenty).
Schools, colleges, universities and trade schools, by definition, are institutions of learning. These institutions will teach as much as you are seeking to learn. The more you learn the better for you. But learning in itself is a skill which needs to be acquired, refined and perfected. Nobody falls out of the sky being a genius or a great student.
Here are some of the principles it takes to become such a great student. We will discuss them at length and in more detail in the text which follows.
Now let us look at these ideas in more detail.
