Heart of Hearing
Dedication
For my family and my best friend Tahleah – you complete me and shape my life into a beautiful piece of art, I wouldn’t be me without you guys. Especially my dad because you always try your best to help when we need it.
Broken
We are all a soldier with a broken soul
But we don’t know
Broken battered and bruised
We get knocked down but we don’t know how to give up
Let go
So we get back up again
We are losing the battle but in the end no matter where or what you are we will win the war
The war against ourselves
Mistaken
The minute
All mine
But her attempt proved
A dare
A wish
Now you’re melancholy
Offer a poisoned tear
A grand suspect to the kiss
Blamed to fluster me
Destroy
Wait
Shh
Help
I Sea I Love You
Into the sea
Into the deep
Oh my sweet ocean won’t you love me
Are you mine to keep?
The Sand and the Sea
The salty wind blows
The sounds of the rushing waves
They crawl up the shore
Endless Possibilities
Do you ever feel like a disconnected plug?
Like everyone else gets it but you
Like they’re playing a game but won’t let you join in
So you play your own game and pretend to enjoy it but you don’t
You wish you got it, understood it
Wish you fit
You wish you had someone that really understood you
Enjoyed being with you as much as you enjoyed their company
A real friend that never lied
Never betrayed your friendship
They would never laugh when you told them your secrets
They’d find you funny and interesting
You could say the perfect friend
With them you could do anything
You wouldn’t need a million friends
A million objects of your desire
A billion dollars
Just them
Could one person really make you feel that way?
Are they out there right now searching for you?
Or are they there but you just haven’t realised it yet?
Life Itself
I see the walking dead.
They pretend they have a life,
Pretend their life means something,
Pretend they’re useful,
Without them the world would stop revolving around the sun.
Well that’s not true no matter how important they are now,
No matter how painful it is or how much it hurts,
How much you want them back,
Life goes on.
No matter if without them you want to give up
To give in
You can’t and you don’t know why
Bully Me This, Bully Me That
I lost my head
Just for a second
The wrong things were said
I wish
Oh I wish how I could take it back now
Now it happened
Now I know
I was so foolish and I hurt somebody
And that kind of hurt can never be taken back
How stupid was that!
I broke their soul and broke their body
I guess it is time to pay the price
The price of a life
Immortal, Immoral
Love will outlast everyone and everything
But if we do not exist does that not mean
