      Deadguy and Kiri stood back to back in the middle of an enclosed circle of gang members. Before them stood the Witch of Akibara, a plain woman with a large nose and larger witch hat. The Witch was laughing.

      Oh, I don't like the sound of that, Deadguy stated.

      What, Kiri asked.

      What, he asked back.

      Now is really not a good time for your mind to wander.

      Looking at the situation we're in, I don't blame my mind from leaving.

      The group grew closer. A few charged at Our Hero, ready for a fight. He ducked under the swing of the first combatant and landed a punch as the guy turned back in amazement. The next attacker caught an elbow to the face, breaking his nose.

      Kiri's Shock-ra sparked to life as she plunged it into the neck of her first attacker. He shook for a few moments, then fell to the ground. A sweeping kick knocked the next attacker off her feet. The Techie quickly sprang back up to uppercut the next attacker.
