    This book “Ministering by the Spirit” is the fourth and the last in the series of books entitled “The Spirit”. The first three books, “Knowing the Spirit”, ”Following the Spirit” and “Living by the Spirit” dwelled on life in the desert as the disciples and the multitude believed God for their sustenance. The emphasis in the desert was on the need for physical thing like bread and healing.

    Life at the other side of the sea switched to the need for spiritual things. The multitude at the other side of the sea was not content with watching Jesus multiply bread. They asked Him how they could work the works of God. They attempted to move from seeking the things of the flesh to seeking the things of the Spirit.”Ministering by the Spirit” provides helpful insight into how to work the works of God. It equips the believers who wants to flow with the Holy Ghost to graduate from receiving from God to giving to others.

      This is the first book in the series entitled “The Spirit”. The subtitle of this book is “Knowing the Spirit”. In this book and the subsequent ones in the series I will apply John 6:63 to some aspects Jesus ‘victorious life on earth. The verse reveals the secret behind Jesus Miracle and the claims He made about His deity. In order for the Holy Ghost to play an active role in our lives we must know Him in the same way Jesus knew Him. I have a strong feeling in my Spirit that the next few years will be characterised by conspicuous activities of the Holy Ghost. The flesh has dominated believers for a long time and the time for the Spirit to take control is now. Believers are largely ignorant of the relationship between Jesus and the Holy Ghost .Those who experience the baptism of the Holy Ghost limit His power to just speaking in other tongues and prophesying. Knowing the Holy Ghost and understanding His ways of operation help us to benefit from His power and glory.

      We cannot follow the Spirit unless we know Him. If we don’t know the Spirit , we are not only likely to fail to follow Him but also blaspheme Him through ignorance and arrogance. Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost is attributing the works of the Holy Ghost to the devil. The move of the Spirit in our time features several things that are contrary to tradition and human logic and this has the tendency to make many resist Him and fight against His works. The aim of this book is to put us back on the path of following the Holy Ghost .We must not allow the flesh to control us and we should not be distracted by the common occurrence of demonic activities around us. The devil is so loud in his actions that preachers and Bible teachers spend a lot of their time talking about the devil to the neglect of the Holy Ghost. We must remain focused on the Holy Ghost in order to experience His power.
