Brad Pratt and the Batt Team Series

My novel is a thriller of 74,000 words. It’s based on a highly intelligent serial killer bent upon cutting down the population of senior citizens from an abused childhood. In addition his profession as a makeup artist of long term standing in the film industry allows him the empirical knowledge of disguise and role acting. He taunts the investigators leaving clues and when the FBI is baffled, a small agency run by a mysterious man who receives his orders from the President of the United States is summoned. The Brad Pratt Team is called to action to stop this killer. His team is made up of unique individuals whose personalities we can relate to. Maybe the story is not so unique, but the characters are. The Team uses high technology, determination, logical reasoning and psychological tactics to hunt down a killer whose has the whole nation of seniors in a panic. A confrontation with the FBI and with a unique ending will keep you turning the pages.

A knock at your door reveals a person who says: "I'm sorry to report but your daughter, son, grandson, granddaughter, wife or anyone else that is related to you has been abducted. They don't want money. They want something that is more personal. They want to see you grovel, beg, plead, do anything but don't hurt my blood relation. How would you feel if that happened to you? This novella pits Brad Pratt and his Batt team against some adversaries that truly want to control all global business. The President of the United States is notified that his granddaughter has been kidnapped. He calls Brad Pratt and the chase is on.

Systematic Attrition is a tale of murder at the highest levels of government. A left wing group is determined to set the world right by changing the USA from a democracy back to a socialist dictatorship. A warning is given to a member of the Brad Pratt team over the computer forecasting the demise of high ranking politician. The team scrambles to find the assassin only to discover the assassin was from China, but contracted from the USA. Once again the Brad Pratt team is called upon to thwart the take over and to right the balance of a democracy. Take risk; it's a good read.

The third in the series; this mission involves the Batt Team against the North Korean regime. It's revealed, through a high level defector, that the "Dear One" is about to nuke both South Korea and Japan at the same time. The three heads of state, Japan, South Korea and the USA have agreed to remove the power in North Korea once and for all. China has agreed behind the scenes to assist. The president gives carte blanche to Brad and his team to eliminate the reckless military regime. Authors Note I'm offering the first three chapters for free to my loyal readers. It's action from the beginning. What begins as a rather mundane assignment, Brad Pratt is summoned to the White House. The president tells him that the world's most valuable pink diamond has been stolen in Australia. The Batt Team must recover the diamond at all costs to save the reputation of Australia and its relationship to the indigenous people the Aborigines. What starts as a straightforward case, quickly becomes complex with the kidnapping of the diamond polisher and his family. The trail leads the Batt Team on an international hunt that involves a Bulgarian count, a German count, both the German and Hungarian underworld and the Russian mafia. Once again Brad has to recruit the Navy SEALS to storm a heavily armed villa in Bulgaria. If they are successful and recover the pink diamond, the team must assault a fortified residence very near where Hitler had his secret lair in Bavaria. The 'why' is for the reader to find out. I'm presenting the first three chapters for free. The final novel will be completed this fall of 2013.

Brad Pratt is given the responsibility to protect the Chinese President from assassination while in America. The USA President plays a unique role in this political thriller. Peking Man and our character The Master are one in the same. The Master possesses amazing mental and physical abilities. Follow the Batt Team and The Master to an exciting conclusion. Unknown to all a Black Grand Master is hired to kill the Chinese President.

Under Water Secret It had been more than ten years since 9/11. The terrorist's vowed revenge after their leader Osama bin Laden was murdered. The Taliban blamed Brad Pratt and his Batt team. The reward rose to 25 million for his head. A plan was formed. It was a new type of terrorism: underwater submarines. However, not only were the Taliban involved but some other countries were going to take advantage of an opportunity. The targets were oil refineries and cruise ships. Also, the plan was to attack Brad Pratt's Round House dealing him the same treatment their leader received: death.

Brad Pratt is summoned by his father, the Secretary of the Navy to the Pentagon. His usually calm father is in a high state of anxiety. Brad is told that the most secret military prototype mini stealth catamaran submarine has been lost. Its technology is a state of the art death machine. The government believes it was somehow stolen while in transit on the back of a Trident submarine. Brad and his Batt team are ordered to find it and punished the thieves. The trail leads to a corrupt security; a greedy senator and manufacturing company; and to Hong Kong where the richest man in China pulls the strings. Additionally, a new covert assassination team has the contract to take out the entire Batt Team. Come follow the twisted trail to the missing cat sub.

The serial killer: King of Hearts is methodically eliminating each face card of a deck of playing cards. He uses special stainless steel playing cards to throw at his tied up victims. He begins with the Jack of Clubs and works up from there. Adult content. Brad Pratt and his Batt Team are called to stop this deranged killer. The killer prays on prostitutes and gays. With the help of the FBI, Homeland Security and the local New York City Police, they are not able to stop this guy. A new idea or approach is needed: a challenge is offered the King of Hearts. Two major drug lords of Brazil capitalized on the popular cocaine trade both along the Amazon River and the smuggling of drugs out of Bolivia and Peru by air. What began as a joke: Robin Hood steals from rich and gives to the poor, becomes reality in this story of good versus evil. The new addition to the Batt Team is Tony Hodges and his security team based out of Brazil. For faithful readers of this series, you'll find Tony Hodges in the previous novel: ''Serial Killer''.
