Victoria Montreal acting as recorder of memories asks the Guardian of Life and Death questions about his position of guarding the computer mind Edenia's original computer memories into mind of her father Jinks Montreal. Guardian in response tells Victoria a story which reveals the points of origins of the High Council group of Highlanders formed in the first place and their hatred towards Humans' species known as First Ones. The telling reveals a secret of the High Council they treasured involving their dedicated servant Tom Mindbender Thunder himself.
