Don't like the lack of research, her LITERAL incorrect use of the word literally, and the opinions he clearly forces on his readers. It's a quick interesting read though.

Introduction

Why is it that friends, even best friends, often want what the other has? It doesn’t matter if it’s material things or people – in seeking a sense of belonging, or perhaps the relationships that they don’t have at home, people of all ages (and it doesn’t matter if you’re in junior high school or a fifty-year-old adult) fall prey to the green-eyed jealousy monster. They, like others, experience the ‘I wish I had what you had’ mentality, even if they recognize that fulfilling that longing doesn’t make it all better.

Some of the cases profiled in this book are stories of friends who betray one another over one thing; jealousy. Jealousy is a natural feeling to man and often involves three people. It is when, however, when jealousy turns violent that emotion takes over and people often lose their self-control. That saying that the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill is definitely not true, as each of these friends who killed a friend will discover. As a matter of fact, after you get to that ‘other side of the hill’, they find (more often than not), that there are just as many weeds growing as where they came from.

Other cases profiled in this book are about friends who killed a best friend or an acquaintance – for a variety of ‘reasons’, including a bet, boredom with their life or marriage, or because a boyfriend dared to two-time.

Each of the cases is different – and sad. You see, in each case, the death of an innocent victim or victims could have been avoided with a little aforethought. As these friends found out – the hard way – that a little patience and maturity and a big dose of common sense could have saved everyone; the victims and the murderers from the devastation that a single moment; a single lapse in judgment, would wreak on their lives and the lives of all family members involved .

Two-Timing Leads to Death:

The Story of Sarah Ludemann, Rachel Wade

and Josh Camacho

Sarah Ludemann

It's hard enough finding - and keeping - a boyfriend or girlfriend in high school, without the added competition from your friends. In this tale of love and tragedy, two girls literally fought to the death over one boy. Was that boy worth it? Not likely.

The feud began in 2009, when Sarah Ludemann, age 17, first set sight on Josh Camacho at a Chick-fil-A in Pinellas Park, Florida. Sarah had grown up in a working-class neighborhood, and her parents weren't all that thrilled with her gushing over the boy who had winked at her at work and captured her attention.

What developed was a tenuous relationship at first, with Josh Camacho mostly minding his manners around Sarah, although her parents weren’t particularly impressed as the couple spent more and more time together. To put it bluntly, they didn't care for him at all.

After all, he had his name tattooed in large letters across his back (can you say ‘ego’?)
