    The mansion stood cold and empty. The halls were layered with cobwebs and dust. Rooms were in disarray from years of neglect. There was a sudden pounding at the giant front doors. One. Two. Then, there were two different slams. Finally, the doors relented and swung open. Against the moonlit night sky stood Jill Nemo and Kiri Fairchild of the Professional Heroes.

    They need to get that door fixed, Kiri remarked.

    Years of neglect will do that to a door, Jill replied. The two looked around the dusty, faded foyer. Okay, lets grab the equipment and set up. After much moving, shifting, and 'No Kiri, the OTHER side', the two Heroes managed to set up a perimeter of the latest parapsychology equipment that 1985 had to offer.

    Why are we using such archaic tech, Kiri whined, twisting one clunky PKE box to get it to operate.

    Jill was setting up a camera to aim down a hall. Because, even though the casing had gotten smaller, the general technology of ghost hunting has remained largely unchanged. She turned the camera on. Besides, the modern tech would have cost us thousands of dollars. This was free. Well, it's on loan from Bhuta Tech.
