Camille Pissarro
Camille Pissarro was French artist, the only painter to show in all eight of the Impressionist exhibitions between 1874 and 1886, and he is frequently considered as the father
of the Impressionist movement. Throughout his life Pissarro remained as radical in artistic matters as he was in politics. The significance of Pissarro's work is in the sense of balance maintained between the conventional and the avant-garde.
In Paris from 1855, he came under the influence of Corot and the Barbizon school. Later he allied himself
