About this ebook

Based on his expertise accumulated in Personal Functional Training, Paolo Garizio presents his method "View Training" with the aim of helping those affected by nearsightedness to improve and eventually to fully regain their perfect vision. The fast and effective approach described in the book is the result of insights the author tried on his own with the purpose of correcting bad habits that in time revealed to be the main root causes at the basis of a greater rigidity of the eye muscles and the ultimate cause of nearsightedness.

Heal your vision - Paolo Garizio

    Introduction

This e-book presents an interesting peculiarity: it is a mix between a training program and a proper e-book. Its concise and targeted structure is the ideal tool to obtain key insights and new habits to be immediately applied to improve your nearsightedness.

In general, before explaining the exercises, I believe it was necessary to be aware of how we became near-sighted and, consequently, how we can reacquire the natural state of perfect eyesight.

Regardless of the techniques I will explain in this book, The standard procedure is to have at first a functional examination where our ophthalmologist would take note of our current vision level, our habits, and other specific details that may have influenced the onset of our visual defects.

That would be our starting point from where we start to heal our vision.

    Chapter 1

    Understanding nearsightedness

WHEN dealing with a self-healing process, one must be aware of the cause that gave rise to the problem. As with nearly all other symptoms of illness, the origin of nearsightedness is identified by the mother of all causes: stress. Notwithstanding the determining factor of stress, whether it is of an emotional or physical nature, the end result will still be the same: the eye, as all other parts of the human body, adapts to the work (stress) imposed on it.

In case of nearsightedness (myopia), the eye has lost its natural ability to perfectly focus on images. This inability happens because stress has increased muscular tension in the eyes, thus changing their shape. Because of the change in shape of the eyeballs, near-sighted people do not receive anymore light on the correct part of the retina that usually allows a focused vision of objects.

The muscular tension is particularly localized on the upper and lower oblique levels of the eye. The diagonal reception of light on account of muscular tension causes the eyeball to flatten and to take on a more extended shape. Such an adaptation results in a regression of the streams of light in a spot
