    Preface

It is my desire to make known God’s Word and Will, so that people will have the opportunity to be saved, come to full knowledge of the truth, and live in accordance with God’s intention. God’s Word was and is and will continue to be Truth. It is the Word of Life.

This book includes information about the following:

    o Jesus the king

    o Jesus’ birth

    o Jesus’ life

    o Jesus’ death

    o Jesus’ resurrection

I have studied and continue to study the Greek papyri and texts of the Bible extensively, and it is from these that I make my Word Translation and Study to provide this in-depth study aid.

The words that the only true God spoke are the best words to communicate His thoughts. It is because of mankind’s interference, mistranslations, etc, of what God spoke and/or what was written down, and because mankind has removed himself in his thinking so far away from God’s thoughts and words, that I endeavor to help all of us come-back to the integrity and truth of what God says - His Word - His thoughts - His will.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss or comment on this Word Translation and Study via the Contact link on https://www.TrueBibleStudy.com.

Thanks to God for His love and grace.

    Relevant Notes

Unless otherwise stated, all scriptures are quoted from one of the following:

o The True Bible Study Word Translation (TBS) is translated from the Greek Papyri and Texts by Maura K. Hill.

o The King James Version (KJV) uses italic type to inform the reader that the translators added the word(s) in italic type.

The various resources and reference materials are listed at https://www.truebiblestudy.com/bible-materials.

In the TBS Word Translation and Study:

o Words in a parenthesis () and italicized within a scripture verse are words inserted to help our English understanding of those words which are translated from Greek words.

o Words in a parenthesis () in the study of the scripture verse are words of explanation regarding the words prior to the parenthesis.

o Additional explanatory insertions within a scripture verse are enclosed in square brackets [] and italicized.

o Additional explanatory notes in the study of a scripture verse are enclosed in square brackets [] and are usually in relation to the Greek or Hebrew texts.

o A slash in the study of a scripture verse, such as: him/her, indicates an alternative word depending on the context.

o A dash, such as: go there – to Jerusalem, indicates that a certain word or phrase is particularly important or deserving of extra emphasis.

o Hyphenated words, such as: used-to-go, indicates that there is only one corresponding word in the Greek text.

o Non-English words are printed with English letters.

o I use an initial capital letter for all occurrences of the words Lord and Master when referring to either God or the Lord Jesus Christ due to my respect for them, therefore the reader will need to carefully consider the context of each particular usage to understand to whom that usage refers.

o Where the word spirit refers to God, I use an initial capital or upper-case S - Spirit. But when the word spirit refers to the gift of holy spirit, etc, I use a small or lower-case s - spirit.

o Underlined text is used for the English word but when translated from the Greek word alla to show that it implies a strong contrast to that-which has just previously been stated, and/or to strengthen a command.

o Underlined text is used for the singular form of the word you to distinguish it from the plural form of the word you which is not underlined.

o Underlined text is also used for emphasis.

o In order to communicate the fullness of the emphasis when the Greek definite article is repeated both with the noun and its adjective - for example: I Corinthians 15:4 the Greek is te hemera te trite, which literally means the day the third - I translate it as "the day, the third (day)."

o Verbs in the imperfect tense are translated with the words used-to and then the meaning of the verb.

o For example: used-to teach indicates that the one teaching spent time teaching, his action of teaching continued during a past time that is now finished for some reason, not that it was a quick one-time occurrence. The one teaching taught others taking time to teach, and he may have repeated his teaching at different times and in different ways. This tense is also used to historically describe past events relating what happened.

o Verbs in the perfect tense are translated from Greek with a superscript number 2 immediately following the verb - for example: it was written². This tense indicates an action done during a past time and which has a present continuing result, meaning it is still the same at the time the verb was spoken or written. Therefore, this example could be translated as: it was written and continues written.

o The noun love¹ or the verb to love¹ comes from the Greek word agape which is God’s kind of love.

When the Biblical writers wrote, there were no punctuation marks, no chapter or verse divisions indicated, etc, as we see them today in many of our English Bible translations and versions. Therefore we must read the whole context of each particular passage of Scripture for thought-content to more clearly understand the truth of what has been written.

Also, the original language was not English, and therefore when I may write that the writer said or wrote such and such, please understand that the writer actually spoke and wrote in the original language the equivalent to that-which I state in the English language to the best of my knowledge.

I recommend that while reading this book, you also have your usual Bible and Biblical study materials open, so as to compare verses and gain greater understanding of the truth of God’s Word.

    Introduction to Matthew

The Book of Matthew is one of four books that sets forth the four-fold earthly-life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew does not contain everything that Jesus said and/or did. It emphasizes the Lord Jesus Christ being God’s appointed king, and refers to God’s kingdom as the kingdom of the heavens. This phrase emphasizes the expansive greatness of God’s kingdom, His spirit realm, and that God’s location today is in the heavens, not the earth, until the future time recorded in Revelation chapters 21 and 22 – whereas the phrase kingdom of God emphasizes God’s spirit realm because the spirit from God that was in Jesus was in operation on the earth during Jesus’ ministry.

This book was written after the resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven and after the out-pouring of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost (refer to Acts chapter 2). It was written by revelation – the information of what to write was received via holy spirit-life (not from the intellectual memory).

    Chapter 1

¹:¹A book of genesis of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham. .2Abraham begat Isaac, Isaac begat Jacob, Jacob begat Judas and his brothers, .3Judas begat Phares and Zara from Thamar, Phares begat Esrom, Esrom begat Aram, .4Aram begat Aminadab, Aminadab begat Naasson, Naasson begat Salmon, .5Salmon begat Boes from Rachab, Boes begat Obed from Ruth, Obed begat Jesse,

.6Jesse begat David the king; David begat Solomon from the (wife) of Uriah, .7Solomon begat Roboam, Roboam begat Abia, Abia begat Asaph, .8Asaph begat Josaphat, Josaphat begat Joram, Joram begat Ozias, .9Ozias begat Joatham, Joatham begat Achaz, Achaz begat Hezekias, .10Hezekias begat Manasses, Manasses begat Amos, Amos begat Josias –

.11Josias begat Jechonias and his brothers on the dwelling-change of Babylon, .12after the dwelling-change of Babylon - Jechonias begat Salathiel, Salathiel begat Zorobabel, .13Zorobabel begat Abiud, Abiud begat Eliakim, Eliakim begat Azor, .14Azor begat Sadok, Sadok begat Achim, Achim begat Eliud, .15Eliud begat Eleazar, Eleazar begat Matthan, Matthan begat Jacob, .16Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary from whom was begotten Jesus, the (one) being said (as) Christ.

.17Therefore all the generations from Abraham until David fourteen generations, and from David until the dwelling-change of Babylon fourteen generations, and from the dwelling-change of Babylon until the Christ fourteen generations.

.18But the genesis of Jesus Christ was thus: (after) his mother Mary having been betrothed to Joseph, before them coming-together, she was found having in (her) womb from Holy Spirit.

.19But Joseph, her husband being righteous and not intending to point her out, was deliberately-determined to loosen her unnoticeably from (him), .20but (after) his being caused-to-think these-things within - look!, an angel of (the) Lord was brought-to-light according to a dream to him saying, "Joseph, son of David, let you not be caused-fear to take Mary your wife beside (yourself), for the-thing having been begotten in her is from Holy Spirit. .21She will bring-forth a son and you will call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

.22But this whole-thing came-to-pass² in order that the-thing may be fulfilled having been said by (the) Lord by means of the prophet saying, .23"Look!, the virgin will have in (her) womb, and she will bring-forth a son, and they will call his name Emmanuel," which is being translated ‘God with us’. .24But Joseph, having been raised-up from sleep, did as the angel of (the) Lord arranged towards him and he took his wife beside (himself), .25and he used-to not know her until where she brought-forth a son, and he called his name Jesus.

    Chapter 2

²:¹(After) Jesus having been born in Bethlehem of Judea in (the) days of Herod the king - look!, magi from (the) risings arrived into Jerusalem .2saying, Where is the king of the Judeans having been brought-forth, for we saw his star in the rising and came to worship him? .3But having heard, King Herod was disturbed and all Jerusalem with him, .4and having gathered-together all the chief-priests and scribes of the people he was asking-to-learn from them where the Christ is born.

.5But the (chief-priests and scribes) said to him, "In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it was written² by means of the prophet: .6‘And you Bethlehem’ earth of Judah certainly-not ‘you are least among the leaders of Judah, for there will come-out from you (one) leading, he-who will shepherd My people Israel’."

.7Then Herod, unnoticeably having called the magi, asked-to-know-accurately from them the time of the star being brought-to-light, .8and having sent them into Bethlehem he said, "Having journeyed, you must examine accurately concerning the young-child, but upon-ever you may find (him) you must announce to me so-that I also having gone may worship him."

.9The (magi) having heard the king journeyed and look!, the star which they saw in the rising used-to-be leading them forth until, having come, it was caused-to-stand over where the young-child used-to be, .10and having seen the star they vehemently joyed great joy, .11and having gone into the house they saw the young-child with Mary his mother, and having fallen they worshipped him, and having opened their treasures they offered to him free-gifts: gold and frankincense and myrrh; .12and having been instructed-with-business according to a dream not to bend-upwards towards Herod, they departed by means of another way into their country.

.13But (after) their departing, look!, an angel of (the) Lord is brought-to-light according to a dream to Joseph saying, "Having been raised-up, you must take the young-child and his mother beside (yourself) and flee into Egypt, and you must be there until ever I may say to you, for Herod is about to seek-after the young-child to destroy him." .14And having been raised-up, he took the young-child and his mother beside (himself) of night and departed into Egypt; .15and he used-to-be there until the completion of Herod, in order that the-thing may be fulfilled having been said by (the) Lord by means of the prophet saying, From Egypt I called My son.

.16Then Herod having seen that he was derided by the magi was very raged, and having apostled he eliminated all the children, the (children) in Bethlehem and in all her boundaries, from two-years and lower-down according to the time which he asked-to-know-accurately from the magi.

.17Then the-thing was fulfilled having been said by means of Jeremiah the prophet saying, .18A sound was heard in Rama, crying and wailing much, Rachel crying-for her children and used-to not intend to be encouraged because they are not.

.19But (after) Herod having completed (his life), look!, an angel of (the) Lord is brought-to-light according to a dream to Joseph in Egypt .20saying, "Having been raised-up you must take the young-child and his mother beside (yourself) and journey into (the) earth of Israel, for the (people) seeking-after the soul of the young-child have died²."

.21And having been raised-up he took the young-child and his mother beside (himself) and went into (the) earth of Israel, .22but having heard that Archelaus reigns-as-king of Judea in-the-place of his father Herod he was caused-fear to go-away there. But having been instructed-with-business according to a dream he departed into the parts of Galilee, .23and having come he dwelt-down into (the) city being said (as) Nazareth, so-that the-thing may be fulfilled having been said by means of the prophets that he will be called: Nazarene.

    Chapter 3

³:¹In those days John the baptizer arrives heralding-forth in the desert-place of Judea .2and saying, You must repent, for the kingdom of the heavens came-near² – .3for this is the (one) having been said by means of Isaiah the prophet saying, "A sound crying-aloud in the desert-place, you must prepare the way of (the) Lord, you must make his paths straight."

.4John himself used-to have his clothing from hairs of a camel and a leather girdle around his loin, and his nourishment used-to-be locusts and wild honey. .5Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the country-around Jordan used-to journey-out towards him .6and they used-to-be baptized in the river Jordan by him expressly-agreeing (regarding) their sins.

.7But having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming on his baptism he said to them, "Offsprings of vipers, someone pointed-out to you to flee from the wrath being about to (come), .8therefore you must make worthy fruit of the repentance, .9and you must not consider to say in yourselves ‘We have a father - Abraham,’ for I say to you that God is able to raise-up children to Abraham from these stones; .10but the axe already is laid towards the root of the trees, therefore every tree not making beautiful fruit is cut-off and is thrown into fire.

.11I indeed baptize you in water into repentance, but the (one) coming behind me he is stronger-than me, whose sandals I am not sufficient to lift-up, he will baptize you in holy spirit and fire, .12whose winnowing-fan (is) in his hand and he will throughly-clean his threshing-floor, and he will gather-together his wheat into the granary but the chaff he will burn-down with unquenchable fire."

.13Then Jesus arrives from Galilee on Jordan towards John to be baptized by him, .14but John used-to throughly-hinder him saying, I have need to be baptized by you and you come towards me? .15But Jesus having answered said towards him, "You must leave (me) now, for thus it is becoming for us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he leaves him. .16But Jesus having been baptized ascended immediately from the water, and look!, the heavens were opened and he saw the spirit of God descending as-though a dove coming on him, .17and look!, a sound from the heavens saying, This is My son, the loved¹ (son) in whom I consider-it-good."

    Chapter 4

⁴:¹Then Jesus was led-up by the spirit into the desert-place to be tempted by the devil .2and having fasted forty days and forty nights afterwards he hungered .3and the (one) tempting having come-towards (him) said to him, "If you are son of God you must say (words) in order that these stones may become breads." .4But the (one) having answered said, "It was written², ‘The man will not live on only bread but on every spoken-matter journeying-out by means of (the) mouth of God’."

.5Then the devil takes him beside (himself) into the holy city and caused him to-stand on the pinnacle of the temple, .6and he says to him, "If you are son of God you must throw yourself below for it was written² that ‘He will command His angels concerning you and they will lift you on (their) hands lest-perhaps you may stumble your foot against a stone’."

.7Jesus said to him, "Again it was written², ‘You will not tempt-out (the) Lord your God’." .8Again the devil takes him beside (himself) into a very high mountain and points-out to him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, .9and said to him, All these-things I will give to you if-ever having fallen you may worship me. .10Then Jesus says to him, "You must go, satan, for it was written², ‘You will worship (the) Lord your God and you will render-service only to Him’."

.11Then the devil leaves him; and look!, angels came-towards (Jesus) and used-to minister to him.

.12But having heard that John was given-over, (Jesus) departed into Galilee, .13and having left-down Nazareth, having come he dwelt-down into Capernaum the seaside in (the) boundaries of Zebulon and Naphtali, .14in order that the-thing may be fulfilled having been said by means of Isaiah the prophet saying, .15"Earth of Zebulon and earth of Naphtali, way of (the) sea, other-side of the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles, .16the people, the (people) sitting-down in darkness, saw great light, and to the (people) sitting-down in (the) country and shadow of death light arose to them."

.17From then Jesus began to herald-forth and to say, You must repent, for the kingdom of the heavens came-near². .18But walking beside the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon the (one) being said (as) Peter and Andrew his brother, throwing a throwing-net into the sea, for they used-to-be fishermen, .19and he says to them, Come-this-way behind me and I will make you fishermen of men, .20and the (brothers) immediately having left the nets followed him.

.21And having advanced from-there he saw two other brothers, James the (son) of Zebedee and John his brother, in the ship with Zebedee their father fully-equipping their nets, and he called them, .22and the (brothers) immediately having left the ship and their father followed him.

.23And he used-to lead-around in the whole of Galilee teaching in their synagogues and heralding-forth the good-message of the kingdom and attending-to every disease and every sickness among the people; .24and the thing-heard of him went-away into the whole of Syria, and they carried-towards him all the (people) having badly, being held-together with variegated diseases and torments, being devilized, and being lunatic, and paralytic, and he attended-to them. .25And many crowds followed him from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and other-side of the Jordan.

    Chapter 5

⁵:¹But having seen the crowds he ascended into the mountain. And (after) his having sat-down his learning-disciples came-towards him, .2and having opened his mouth he used-to teach them saying, .3"Happy (are) the poor-people relative-to spirit because the kingdom of the heavens is of them. .4Happy (are) the (people) mourning because they will be encouraged. .5Happy (are) the meek-people because they will inherit the earth.

.6Happy (are) the (people) hungering and thirsting the righteousness because they will be fed. .7Happy (are) the merciful-people because they will be shown-mercy. .8Happy (are) the clean relative-to heart because they will see God. .9Happy (are) the peacemakers because they will be called: sons of God.

.10Happy (are) the (people) having been persecuted² by-reason-of righteousness because the kingdom of the heavens is of them. .11Happy are you whenever they may reproach you and they may persecute and they may say every evil against you by-reason-of me, .12you must joy and you must exult because your compensation (is) much in the heavens for thus they persecuted the prophets, the (prophets) before you. .13You are the salt of the earth, but if-ever the salt may be made-dull in what will it be salted? It yet is strong into nothing except having been thrown outside to be trodden-down by men.

    .14You are the light of the world, a city lying upon a hill is not able to be hidden, .15neither do they burn a lamp and put it under the bushel-container but on the lamp-stand and it shines to all the (people) in the house, .16thus your light must shine in-front-of men so-that they may see your beautiful works and they may glorify your Father, the (Father) in the heavens. .17Let you not regard-as-customary that I came to disunite the law or the prophets, I did not come to disunite but to fulfill, .18for with-certainty I say to you until ever the heaven and the earth may go-by one iota or one tittle may never go-by from the law until ever all-things may come-to-pass;

.19therefore who if-ever may loosen one of these least commandments and may teach men thus, he will be called ‘least’ in the kingdom of the heavens, but who ever may do and teach this-person will be called ‘great’ in the kingdom of the heavens, .20for I say to you that if-ever your righteousness may not exceed more-than the scribes’ and Pharisees’ (righteousness) you may never go into the kingdom of the heavens. .21You heard that it was said to the old-people, ‘You will not murder, but who ever may murder will be liable at the judgment’; .22but I say to you that every-person being wrathful to his brother will be liable at the judgment, but who ever may say to his brother ‘Raka’ will be liable at the council, but who ever may say ‘Dull-person’ will be liable into the gehenna of the fire.

.23Therefore if-ever you may offer your free-gift on the sacrificial-altar and there you may be caused-to-remember that your brother has something against you, .24you must leave there your free-gift in-front-of the sacrificial-altar and you must go, firstly you must be reconciled with your brother and then having come you must offer your free-gift. .25You must be being well-minded quickly to your adversary while you are with him in the way lest-perhaps the adversary may give you over to the judge and the judge to the assistant and you will be thrown into prison.

.26With-certainty I say to you, you may never go-out from-there until ever you may give-away the last coin. .27You heard that it was said, ‘You will not commit-adultery’; .28but I say to you that every (man) observing a woman towards the (purpose of) to intensely-yearn has already committed-adultery-with her in his heart.

.29But if your eye, the right (eye) offends you, you must take it out and throw from you for it contributes to you in order that one of your limbs may destroy-itself and your whole body may not be thrown into gehenna; .30and if your right hand offends you, you must cut it off and throw from you for it contributes to you in order that one of your limbs may destroy-itself and your whole body may not go-away into gehenna.

.31But it was said, ‘Who ever may loosen his wife from (himself) he must give a departure to her’; .32but I say to you that every (man) loosening his wife from (himself), outside-from a word of fornication, he makes her to be caused to commit-adultery, and who if-ever, (the wife) having been loosened², may marry (her) is caused to commit-adultery.

.33Again you heard that it was said to the old-people, ‘You will not perjure but you will give-away your oaths to the Lord’; .34but I say to you not to wholly swear neither in the heaven because it is (the) throne of God, .35neither in the earth because it is (the) footstool of His feet, neither into Jerusalem because it is (the) city of the Great King, .36neither in your head let you swear because you are not able to make one hair white or black, .37but your word must be yes yes, no no, but the exceeding-thing of these is from the evil-one.

.38You heard that it was said, ‘Eye in-the-place of an eye and tooth in-the-place of a tooth’; .39but I say to you not to stand-against the evil-thing but he-who raps you into the right cheek you must turn to him also the other, .40and the (person) intending for you to be judged and to take your inner-garment you must leave to him also the outer-garment, .41and he-who will dispatch you one mile you must go with him two, .42to the (person) asking you you must give, and the (person) intending to have borrowed from you you may not be turned-away.

.43You heard that it was said, ‘You will love¹ your neighbor and you will hate your enemy’; .44but I say to you, you must love¹ your enemies and you must pray on behalf of the (people) persecuting you, .45so-that you may become sons of your Father, the (Father) in (the) heavens, because He arises His sun on evil-people and good-people and He sends-rain on righteous-people and unrighteous-people, .46for if-ever you may love¹ the (people) loving¹ you, what compensation do you have? The tax-collectors also do the same, don’t they? - (yes.) .47And if-ever you may greet only your brothers, what exceeding-thing do you do? The Gentiles also do the same, don’t they? - (yes.) .48Therefore you will be complete-people as your Father, the heavenly (Father), is complete.

    Chapter 6

⁶:¹You must have-attention not to do your righteousness in-front-of men towards to be gazed-upon by them, but if not, indeed you do not have a compensation with your Father, the (Father) in the heavens. .2Therefore whenever you may do a merciful-deed let you not trumpet in-front-of you wholly-as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the narrow-streets so-that they may be glorified by men; with-certainty I say to you, they have their compensation.

.3But (during) your doing a merciful-deed, your left must not know what your right does .4so-that your merciful-deed may be in the hidden(-place) and your Father, the (Father) observing in the hidden(-place), will give-away to you. .5And whenever you may pray you will not be as the hypocrites because they love to pray having stood² in the synagogues and in the corners of the wide-streets so-that they may be brought-to-light to men; with-certainty I say to you, they have their compensation.

.6But whenever you may pray you must go into your chamber and having shut your door you must pray to your Father, the (Father) in the hidden(-place), and your Father, the (Father) observing in the hidden(-place), will give-away to you. .7But praying you must not idly-repeat wholly-as the Gentiles for they consider that in their much-wording they will be heard; .8therefore you must not be made-like them for your Father knew² of which-things you have need before you ask Him.

.9Therefore thus you must pray: ‘our Father in the heavens, Your name must be made-holy, .10Your kingdom must come, Your intention must be caused-to-become as in heaven also on earth. .11You must give today to us our bread, the coming (bread), .12and You must dismiss from us our debts as also we dismissed from our debtors, .13and let You not carry us into temptation but You must rescue us from the evil-one’; .14for if-ever you may dismiss from men their falling-asides your Father, the heavenly (Father), will dismiss also from you, .15but if-ever you may not dismiss from men, neither will your Father dismiss your falling-asides.

.16But whenever you may fast do not become as the gloomy hypocrites for they cause their faces to-lack-light so-that they may be brought-to-light to men (to be) fasting; with-certainty I say to you, they have their compensation.

.17But you fasting you must anoint your head and wash your face .18so-that you may not be brought-to-light to men (to be) fasting but to your Father, the (Father) in the hiding, and your Father, the (Father) observing in the hiding, will give-away to you. .19You must not treasure for you treasures on the earth where moth and eating cause lack-of-light and where thieves dig-through and steal; .20but you must treasure for you treasures in heaven where neither moth nor eating cause lack-of-light, and where thieves do not dig-through nor steal, .21for where your treasure is there your heart will be also.

.22The lamp of the body is the eye, therefore if-ever your eye may be single your whole body will be light, .23but if-ever your eye may be evil your whole body will be dark; therefore if the light is the darkness in you, how-much (is) the darkness! .24Not-one-person is able to serve-as-a-slave to two lords, for either he will hate the one and he will love¹ the different-one, or he will hold-fast-to one and he will despise the different-one. You are not able to serve-as-slaves to God and to mammon.

.25Because-of-this I say to you, you must not be anxious-about your soul what you may eat, neither your body what you may clothe-yourselves-with. The soul is more-than the nourishment and the body (more-than) the clothing, isn’t it? - (yes.) .26You must observe into the birds of the heaven that they do not sow, neither do they harvest, nor do they gather-together into granaries, and your Father, the heavenly (Father), nourishes them. You differ rather of them, don’t you? - (yes.)

.27But who from you being anxious is able to add one cubit on his stature? .28And why are you anxious concerning clothing? You must fully-learn the lilies of the field how they increase; they do not labor, neither do they spin.

.29But I say to you that neither Solomon in all his glory clothed-himself as one of these. .30But since God thus clothes the grass of the field today being and tomorrow being thrown into an oven, (God clothes) you much rather, doesn’t He, people-with-little-belief? - (yes.) .31Therefore you must not be anxious saying: ‘what may we eat, or, what may we drink, or, what may we clothed-ourselves-with?’ – .32for all these-things the Gentiles earnestly-seek-after – for your Father, the heavenly (Father), knew² that you need these-things all-together; .33but you must firstly seek-after the kingdom and the righteousness of Him, and all these-things will be added to you. .34Therefore let you not be anxious into tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious of itself; sufficient for the day (is) its badness.

    Chapter 7

⁷:¹You must not judge in order that you may not be judged, .2for in which judgment you judge you will be judged and in which measure you measure it will be measured to you. .3But why do you observe the speck, the (speck) in your brother’s eye, but the beam in your eye you do not mentally-perceive? .4Or how will you say to your brother, ‘You must leave (me so) I may throw-out the speck from your eye,’ and look!, the beam in your eye?

.5Hypocrite, you must firstly throw-out the beam from your eye and then you will throughly-observe to throw-out the speck from your brother’s eye. .6Let you not give the holy-thing to the dogs, neither let you throw your pearls in-front-of the pigs, lest-perhaps they will tread them down among their feet, and having been turned they may tear you.

.7You must ask and it will be given to you, you must seek-after and you will find, you must knock and it will be opened to you, .8for every-person asking receives, and the (person) seeking-after finds, and to the (person) knocking it will be opened. .9Or, what man is from you whom his son will ask bread – he will not give a stone upon him, will he? - (no.) .10Or, he will also ask a fish – he will not give a snake upon him, will he? - (no.)

.11Therefore since you, being evil, knew² to give good gifts to your children, how-much rather your Father, the (Father) in the heavens, will give good-things to the (people) asking Him. .12All as-many-things-as if-ever you may intend in order that men may do to you, thus also you must do to them, for this is the law and the prophets.

.13You must go-into (the kingdom of God) by means of the narrow gate – because wide and spacious (is) the way, the (way) leading-away into the destruction and many are the (people) going-into (destruction) by means of it – .14because narrow and having been pressured² (is) the way, the (way) leading-away into the life, and little are the (people) finding it.

.15You must have-attention from the lying-prophets, the-people-who come towards you in clothes of sheep but from-inside they are catching wolves. .16You will fully-know them from their fruits. You do not collect grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do you? - (no.) .17Thus every good tree makes beautiful fruits but the rotten tree makes evil fruits. .18A good tree is not able to make evil fruits, neither a rotten tree to make beautiful fruits. .19Every tree not making beautiful fruit is cut-off and is thrown into fire. .20Consequently indeed you will fully-know them from their fruits.

.21Not every-person saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will go into the kingdom of the heavens but the (person) doing the intention of my Father, the (Father) in the heavens. .22Many-people will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, we prophesied with your name, and with your name we threw-out devils, and with your name we did many abilities, didn’t we?’ – .23and then I will express-agreement (regarding this) to them that ‘I never knew you; you must depart from me, the (people) working the lawlessness.’

.24Therefore every-person he-who hears these my words and does them he will be made-like a thoughtful adult-male, he-who built his house on the rock .25and the rain descended and the rivers came and the winds blew and they fell-towards that house, and it did not fall for it had been founded on the rock. .26And every-person hearing these my words and not doing them he will be made-like a dull adult-male, he-who built his house on the sand .27and the rain descended and the rivers came and the winds blew and they stumbled-against that house, and it fell and the fall of it used-to-be great."

.28And it came-to-pass when Jesus completed these words the crowds used-to-be shocked on his teaching, .29for he used-to-be teaching them as having authority and not as their scribes.

    Chapter 8

⁸:¹(After) his having descended from the mountain many crowds followed him. .2And look!, a leper having come-towards (him) used-to worship him saying, Lord, if-ever you may intend you are able to clean me. .3And having stretched-out the hand he touched him saying, I intend – you must be cleaned, and immediately his leprosy was cleaned. .4And Jesus says to him, "You must see (that) you may say to not-one-person, but you must go point-out yourself to the priest and offer the free-gift which Moses arranged-towards (people) for a witness to them."

.5But (after) his going into Capernaum, a centurion came-towards him encouraging him .6and saying, Lord, my servant was thrown² paralytic in the house being terribly tormented. .7And he says to him, I, having come, will attend-to him.

.8And the centurion having answered said, "Lord, I am not sufficient in order that you may come-in under my roof but you must only say with a word and my servant will be healed, .9for even I am a man under authority having soldiers under myself and I say to this (soldier), ‘You must journey,’ and he journeys, and to another, ‘You must come,’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘You must do this,’ and he does."

.10But having heard Jesus marveled and said to the (people) following, "With-certainty I say to you, with not-one-person have I found so-much belief in Israel; .11but I say to you that many-people will have-come from (the) risings and (the) sinkings and they will be caused-to lean-up with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens, .12but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown-out into the darkness, the outer (darkness), the crying and the gnashing of the teeth will be there."

.13And Jesus said to the centurion, You must go, as you believed it must be caused-to-become to you; and the servant was healed in that hour. .14And Jesus having come into the house of Peter saw his mother-in-law having been thrown² and having-a-fever, .15and he touched her hand and the fever left her and she was raised-up and she used-to minister to him.

.16But (after) evening having come-to-pass they carried-towards him many-people being devilized and he threw-out the spirits with a word, and he attended-to all the (people) having badly; .17so-that the-thing may be fulfilled having been said by means of Isaiah the prophet saying, He took our weaknesses and lifted-up the diseases.

.18But Jesus having seen crowds around him commanded to go-away into the other-side, .19and one scribe having come-towards said to him, Teacher, I will follow you where if-ever you may go-away; .20and Jesus says to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the heaven lodgings, but the son of man does not have where to lean the head.

.21But a different-one of the learning-disciples said to him, Lord, you must permit me firstly to go-away and to bury my father; .22but Jesus says to him, You must follow me and you must leave the dead-people to bury the dead-people of themselves. .23And with him having embarked into the ship his learning-disciples followed him.

.24And look!, a great quake came-to-pass in the sea so-as-for the ship to be covered by the waves, but he used-to lie-down-asleep, .25and having come-towards (him) they raised him up saying, Lord, you must save, we are being destroyed. .26And he says to them, Why are you cowardly, people-with-little-belief? Then having been raised-up he censured the winds and the sea, and a great calmness came-to-pass. .27But the men marveled saying, What-quality is this-person because even the winds and the sea obey him!

.28And (after) his having come into the other-side into the country of the Gadarenes, two (men) being devilized met him coming-out from the memorial-places very fierce so-as-for someone not to be strong to go-by by means of that way.

.29And look!, they shouted saying, "What (is there) with us and with you, son of God? Did you come here before time to torment us? .30But there used-to be distant from them a herd of many pigs feeding. .31But the devils used-to encourage him saying, If you throw us out – you must apostle us into the herd of pigs. .32And he said to them, You must go." But the (devils) having gone-out went-away into the pigs; and look!, all the herd rushed down the cliff into the sea, and they died in the waters. .33But the (people) feeding fled, and having gone-away into the city they announced all-things and the-things of the (men) being devilized.

.34And look!, all the city came-out with-a-view-to a meeting with Jesus and having seen him they encouraged (him) so-that he may depart from their boundaries.

    Chapter 9

⁹:¹And having embarked into a ship he passed-through and came into (his) own city. .2And look!, they used-to carry-towards him a paralytic having been thrown² on a bed. And Jesus having known their belief said to the paralytic, You must be courageous, child, your sins are dismissed.

.3And look!, some of the scribes said in themselves, This-person blasphemes. .4And Jesus having known their thinkings-within said, In-order-for-that you think evils within in your hearts! .5For which is more-well-labored to say, ‘Your sins are dismissed,’ or to say, ‘You must rise-up and walk’? .6But in order that you may have known² that the son of man has authority on the earth to dismiss sins – then he says to the paralytic – you must rise-up, lift your bed and go into your house. .7And having been raised-up he went-away into his house.

.8But the crowds having seen were caused-fear and they glorified God, the (God) having given authority of-this-kind to men. .9And passing-by from-there Jesus saw a man sitting-down on the tax-office, being said (as) Matthew, and he said to him, You must follow me. And having stood-up he followed him. .10And it came-to-pass, (during) his lying-up in the house, look!, many tax-collectors and sinners having come used-to lie-up-together with Jesus and his learning-disciples.

.11And the Pharisees having seen used-to say to his learning-disciples, Because-of-what does your teacher eat with the tax-collectors and sinners? .12But having heard he said, "The (people) being strong do not have a need of a healer but the (people) having badly – .13but having journeyed you must learn what is: ‘I intend mercy and not sacrifice’; for I did not come to call righteous-people but sinners. .14Then the learning-disciples of John came-towards him saying, Because-of-what do we and the Pharisees fast but your learning-disciples do not fast?"

.15And Jesus said to them, "The sons of the bridal-chamber are not able to mourn on as-long-as the bridegroom is with them, are they? - (no.) But days will come whenever the bridegroom may be lifted from them and then they will fast. .16But not-one-person throws-on a patch of un-fulled cloth on an old outer-garment for its fullness lifts from the outer-garment and a worse division comes-to-pass; .17neither do they throw new wine into an old skin-container, but if not, indeed the skin-containers are torn and the wine is poured-out and the skin-containers are destroyed, but they throw new wine into new skin-containers and both are kept-together."

.18(After) his uttering-forth these-things to them, look!, one ruler having come used-to worship him saying that, My daughter now completed but having come you must put your hand on her and she will live. .19And Jesus having been raised-up followed him and his learning-disciples. .20And look!, a woman flowing-blood twelve years having come from-behind towards (Jesus) touched the border of his outer-garment .21for she used-to say in herself, If-ever only I may touch his outer-garment I will be saved.

.22But Jesus having been turned and having seen her said, You must be courageous, daughter, your belief saved² you. And the woman was saved from that hour. .23And Jesus having come into the house of the ruler and having seen the pipers and the crowd being-tumultuous .24he used-to say, You must depart, for the little-girl did not die but she lies-down-asleep. And they used-to laugh him down.

.25But when the crowd was thrown-out, having gone-into (the room) he strongly-held her hand and the little-girl was raised-up, .26and this report went-out into that whole earth. .27And two blind-men followed Jesus passing-by from-there shouting and saying, You must be merciful-towards us, son of David. .28But having gone into the house the blind-men came-towards him and Jesus says to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yes, Lord.

.29Then he touched their eyes saying, According to your belief it must be caused-to-become to you. .30And their eyes were opened, and Jesus was grave with them saying, You must see not-one-person knows. .31But the (two men) having gone-out throughly-reported him in that whole earth.

.32But (during) their going-out, look!, they carried-towards him a dumb man being devilized, .33and (after) the devil having been thrown-out the dumb-man uttered-forth. And the crowds marveled saying, It was never brought-to-light thus in Israel. .34But the Pharisees used-to say, In the ruler of the devils he throws-out the devils.

.35And Jesus used-to lead-around all the cities and the villages teaching in their synagogues and heralding-forth the good-message of the kingdom and attending-to every disease and every sickness. .36But having seen the crowds he had-compassion concerning them that they used-to-be having been harassed², and having been tossed², as-though sheep not having a shepherd. .37Then he says to his learning-disciples, "Indeed the harvest (is) much, but the workers (are) little; .38therefore you must supplicate the Lord of the harvest so-that He may throw-out workers into His harvest."

    Chapter 10

¹⁰:¹And having called-towards-himself his twelve learning-disciples he gave to them authority of unclean spirits so-as to throw them out and to attend-to every disease and every sickness. .2But the names of the twelve apostles are these: first Simon the (one) being said (as) Peter and Andrew his brother, and James the (son) of Zebedee and John his brother, .3Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax-collector, James the (son) of Alphaeus and Thaddaeus, .4Simon the Canaanite and Judas the (one) of Iscariot the (one) also having given him over.

.5These twelve Jesus apostled having charged them saying, "Let you not go-away into (the) way of Gentiles, and let you not go into a city of Samaritans, .6but you must journey rather towards the sheep, the (sheep) having destroyed² of (the) house of Israel. .7But journeying you must herald-forth saying that ‘The kingdom of the heavens came-near².’ .8You must attend-to (people) being weak, you must rise-up dead-people, you must clean lepers, you must throw-out devils. You received free-giftly, you must give free-giftly. .9Let you not acquire gold neither silver nor copper into your girdle, .10not a little-bag for (the) way neither two inner-garments nor sandals nor a rod, for the worker (is) worthy of his nourishment.

.11But into which ever city or village you may go you must examine who in it is worthy and-there you must remain until ever you may go-out. .12But going into the house you must greet it, .13and if-ever indeed the house may be worthy your peace must go on it, but if-ever it may not be worthy your peace must be turned-back towards you. .14And who ever may not accept you neither may hear your words, going-out outside of that house or city you must shake-out the raised-dust of your feet.

.15With-certainty I say to you, it will be more-bearable for (the) earth of Sodom and Gomorrah in (the) day of judgment than for that city. .16Look!, I apostle you as sheep in (the) midst of wolves, therefore you must become thoughtful as the snakes and unmixed as the doves.

.17But you must have-attention from the men for they will give you over into (the) councils and in their synagogues they will whip you, .18but both on leaders and kings you will be led by-reason-of me for a witness to them and to the Gentiles. .19But whenever they may give you over let you not be anxious-about how or what you may utter-forth for it will be given to you in that hour what you may utter-forth .20for you are not the (people) uttering-forth but the spirit of your Father, the (spirit) uttering-forth in you. .21But brother will give-over brother into death, and father (will give-over his) child, and children will stand-up on parents and they will put them to-death.

.22And you will be being-hated by all-people because-of my name, but the (person) having patiently-endured into completion this-person will be saved. .23But whenever they may persecute you in this city you must flee into a different (city), for with-certainty I say to you, you may never complete the cities of Israel until ever the son of man may come. .24A learning-disciple is not over the teacher, neither a slave over his lord. .25(It is) sufficient for the learning-disciple in order that he may become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they called the house-master ‘Beelzebul’ how-much rather his house-people.

.26Therefore let you not be caused-to-fear them, for nothing is having been covered² which will not be revealed, and hidden which will not be known. .27That-which I say to you in the darkness you must say in the light, and that-which into the ear you hear you must herald-forth on the roofs.

    .28And you
