    Bishop Gary and First Lady Daphne Jenkins have had the dream marriage and ministry. They have been married for forty five years and in ministry together for thirty. They started with humble beginnings with missionary work in Africa, Haiti and the Philippines. With prayer and strong roots in the church they have worked hard to build a legacy into a growing and flowing ministry that is not just in Newark, NJ but also ministers and supports other ministry's in different parts of the country and the world.
    Bishop Gary is going to be ordained an Apostles during the three day church 25th anniversary. The whole city of Newark and the surrounding cities are coming out to this event. Bishop Gary is a humble servant of the Lord. He is a true man of God and has always trust God for everything every day.

    He is the husband to the loving First Lady Daphne Jenkins. A woman after Jesus own heart. She is the love that Jesus showed in the Bible. She loves the Lord and she loves her neighbor. She never has to pull information out of people they just talk to her. She just has that a way about her.

    Bishop and Lady Jenkins have three kids. All in the ministry in one way or another.

    Michael is the eldest son and some would say the most rebellious. Michael was ordained a minster to preach the gospel but the call of music for God led him a different direction. The music took him out of the city of Newark and his father's will. Michael and Gary have a strained father and son relationship because of Michael chose to leave the ministry to pursue music.

    The middle child is the lovely daughter Evelyn. She has followed in her mother footstep to a T. She graduated with a BA in Theology Studies and knows how to use her sword effectively. She is married to Deacon Jason Patterson a man of God and not hard on the eyes. He was in love with her from the moment he saw her but it took a moment to win her but when he did he had her. They are the parents of twin daughters Angel and Angela their miracle babies.

    Last but definitely not least, Deacon Kenneth Jenkins is the son that stay home worked in the church faithful but always felt that he was a sloppy second to Prince Michael. Kenneth is a man that loves the church but has a few sour spots because of being a PK (preacher kid). No matter how hard he tried to separate himself from his father people can only see Bishop Gary. Well to be honest he is the splitting image of his dad. Bishop Jenkins may be able to doubt the other two but not Kenneth. Another problem for Kenneth.

    As the family coming to together for this time of celebration will the feelings of love, joy be at the for front or the feelings of pain and unforgiveness arise and cause the family either come together or separate forever....

    Cynthia Robinson BiographyCynthia Robinson is a native of Newark. She is a daughter of Amos and Ann Kidd. She was the sister of Melvina Kidd (who is deceased). Cynthia is the wife to Victor Robinson and they have six children between them.Cynthia walked with God has not been an easy one. She was very rebellion in her early years with the Lord. She was giving a look into her future preaching the gospel and she did not want to do it. Cynthia left the church for 13 years to follow the religion of Islam .Then one day in September 2005 God called her in a way that she could not resist him anymore. She has been learning and teaching the word of God ever since.Cynthia Robinson was ordained an Evangelist in October 2010 by her spiritual leader Bishop Barbara Glanton of Love of Jesus Family Church in Newark, New Jersey. Cynthia Robinson was ordained a Pastor in June 2014. She was commission in July 2014 to become the Pastor of Love of Jesus Family Church of South Orange in South Orange, New Jersey. She does not take this position lightly and has been working to teach and equip the saints of God with the word.Cynthia first published book is called” I AM A Leah” when you are sick and tired and need a right now praise. This book tell the story of Leah Jacob’s first wife. Leah story is one that most women can relate to. We all have moments of not feel enough whether in our family, careers and life in general. This book was written to help women get a better understanding that until they know who they are and whose they are they will continue to repeat the same mistakes year after year.Her second book “You are cordially invited” is a Christian novel that takes you into the three day celebration of Jesus First Church in Newark, New Jersey where Bishop Gary Jenkins is the Senior Pastor. He and his family will be celebrating the church anniversary as well as his ordination to Apostle. In the mist of the weekend events some family ties will either be tighten or loosen because of past hurts, rejection and unforgiveness.She is also the founder of God’s Daughters Ministry. This ministry is one that has been a blessing to Cynthia. This ministry which started on Facebook and has now turned into a weekly radio show on Blogtalkradio.com. She has had the honor of have various authors, church leaders and business women come on the show to help other women to fulfill their purpose and dreams.Cynthia now has three radio shows that come on blog talk radio Every Monday night. They are Church Unusual, Cynthia’s Book Corner and Cynthia’s Soul MusicCynthia is a true sister in that she is on a mission to empower women of God to be the daughters he has called them to be. He had taken the helm of the church some 25 years ago and has not look back.

      He is the adoring husband to the loving First Lady Daphne Jenkins. A woman after Jesus own heart. She is the love that Jesus showed in the Bible. She loves the Lord and she loves her neighbor. She has a face that when she simply says hello people just talk to her and telling her their life story. She listening patiently and then gives them hope and always leave them with a word of prayer. She is the backbone of the church. Without her prayers where would they be?

      You are now listening to WPRJ. The top gospel station in the Newark NJ area. Says the radio announcer. Music begins to play as the introduction for Lady P’s show begins.

      Praise the Lord this is the time for the Gospel Experience with Lady P. Give me two hours and I will give the latest in Christian music and movies and interview with the newest and the hottest artists on the Gospel scene. I’ll give you the Tea about anything and everything within the Gospel and Christian contemporary community from New Jersey and beyond. Now join me, Lady P and lets’ praise the Lord.

      As Lady P’s introduction comes to an end, she looks at Bishop Gary Jenkins her Bishop as well as longtime friend and says, I will bring you in on two, OK Patricia says with a smile on her face.

      Okay no problem, Pat I’m with you. Bishop Gary says. But he was nervous. He hasn’t done a radio interview in some time. Ever since the announcement about the 25th anniversary and his ordination everyone and their mother wants to talk to him. Patricia only got the interview because they have been friends for three decades. She was one of the few church members to stay at the church when he was ordained Pastor and she was in his corner when he made changes. She was and is a true friend and when she asked for the exclusive radio interview he said yes. But he also knows that Pat can come with some surprises so he will have to be prepared.

      Interviews are not his cup of tea, Patricia says in her head. He can preach from sun up to sun down and in front of thousands of people but to do radio or television shows always seems to make him nervous. I wish that First Lady Daphne was here she has a way of calming him down. Hopefully I won’t freak him out to much and make him head for the hills.

      "Praise the Lord Saints, this is Lady P with the Tea on Praise NJ. I have the honor and the exclusive radio interview with the man of the hour, Bishop Gary Jenkins. If you have not heard about the big celebration that will be taking place in the city of Newark this weekend well, I don›t know where you have been !» Says Lady P with the excitement of a teenager as she is beginning her interview with Bishop Gary Jenkins.

      «The Jesus First Church of Newark, New Jersey will be celebrating their 25th anniversary starting on Friday June 20th and continue until Sunday June 22nd when the Bishop will be elevated to the next level of ministry, Apostleship. This is going to be a three day extravaganza with the elite of Newark and the surrounding areas coming out to celebration the church’s growth as well as the Bishop’s new assignment in the Lord. Will you all please help me to welcome Bishop Gary Jenkins to the Lady P Gospel Experience." The applause from the sound machines begin and Bishop Gary knows he will be up next.
