      Introduction

      Hashtags are often used to start a global movement that can mobilize people to action and/or raise awareness on a staggering scale. In fact, Huffingtonpost.com Media Specialist, Tasha Mitchell, published an article dated, 12/17/2014 that highlighted the Top 10 Social Activism Hashtags of 2014. They were:

      The power of social media, and further, hashtags as a movement all their own, can hardly be estimated. For good or for ill, each of those I just listed take our minds vividly back to the events that inspired their use. Many of us were provoked to do something. We could not sit idly by and observe from the stands as our world so drastically changed right before our eyes.

      In the spirit of this astounding reality, I would like to propose a new #FOCUS movement. I say new, not as if I have brilliantly come up with something the world has never seen (we all know that’s not the case), but rather that we commit to a renewed vision of that which is essentially important. Our minds and energies should be directed to impacting the world for God on a level never before seen. Is this hyperbole? No! Evil is running more rampantly than ever before; therefore, we need greater God #FOCUS than ever before. We must not stand by and watch the enemy of souls snatch away all those whom he wills, and destroy them, unchallenged. In the power and authority of our God, we must look away from self, #FOCUS our gaze upon our God, to learn every detail of what He would have us do, to help as many people as possible to see Him as He really is—the All-Loving, All-Powerful God who will soon destroy all evil.

      Now, let’s begin our journey here, right now, with this simple little book, start a movement, and then mobilize for the glory of God. Let’s flood social media sites with this hashtag for the eternal good of all people, and #FOCUS: Heaven’s in Your View!

      F – Faith

      On our journey to spiritual wellbeing and success it’s more than appropriate to begin our discussion with the most basic element—faith. There are tons of doubters of all sorts who say that faith isn’t real. They say that faith is for people who are being subjugated by some group of people who have used it to take advantage of other people groups. Others say that faith is a tool of the majority to keep unwary people docile and impoverished. To be fair, I will agree that some evil minded people have misused religion and the books many of us hold as the Words of God, in order to accomplish their nefarious plans. But, that should be obvious to us, especially since there are so many other resources, principles, and tools that have been misused.

      For example: Besides religion, one of the most misused and misappropriated resources the world has ever known is money. I don’t think I need to defend a dissertation to prove that to you. So many of our civilizations have been built on the backs of poor people who seldom, if ever, reap any material reward from their labors. But, do we demonize or nullify currency, because certain individuals with evil intent misuse it? Well, in order to test your commitment to whatever answer applies to you personally, here’s a true litmus test: Have you earned, banked, or spent $1 in the past 30 days? If not, have you desired to earn, bank, or spend any money at all within the last 30 days? You see, most who demonize money are hypocrites, because they also use it. So, this tool that indeed has been misused and misappropriated in epic proportions, has also been used for the benefit of the poor, sick, needy, incarcerated widowed, and ignorant as well.

      While faith and money are drastically different,
