    Bloodlust

    Mitch Thompson is a no nonsense detective working homicide. Meanwhile a young lady named Janie Roberts has contacted Mitch as a possible eye witness. She saw the man who went into the bathroom where the two women were found murdered a short time later. Janie is seductive and beautiful and while she seems all too eager to help the case, Mitch can’t help but feel that she is hiding her own demons and that there is a darkness to her that he finds irresistible and frightening.

    As he becomes more attracted to her, he finds himself trapped in a world of the supernatural that he never knew existed and hot on the trail of a killer who may not be human…

    Tess Dawson and Angela Tramer are best friends and college roommates. Tess is reserved and shy and Angela is the wildest and most popular girl in school. Angela is known for her zany adventures and for dragging all her friends to go along whether they want to or not.

    One night after a lengthy study session for a midterm, Tess is all set to take a long deserved nap. But Angela has other ideas. She drags Tess and a few friends to the best bar on campus for a night of wicked fun and debauchery.  But for Angela the fun will not last…

    Tess is suddenly awakened at four in the morning with a phone call from Angela, who claims she has been kidnapped and is in fear for her life. Before Angela can tell Tess any details about where she might be the line goes dead.

    Tess runs to the local police station to report the incident where she meets tough and sexy Detective Roy Hill, who agrees to take her case. As the romance between them blooms, they find themselves running out of time. Will they find Angela in time?

      Chapter One

      He had never felt such rage.

      The moment he opened his eyes he wanted to kill something. The confusion of what had happened to him was stuck in a secret vault at the back of his mind. A million shadow thoughts danced in his brain and he struggled to grab one, but his mind couldn’t be bothered with trivial details of how he ended up stuck in a coffin six feet under the earth.  It was a distant memory that had either been too horrific for his human brain to hold onto or was part of the transformation.

      He barely remembered who he was; his childhood, his job, friends, family. It was all gone. He tried to pull up some semblance of these memories. Nothing.  He was gone.  He was dead.

      And he didn’t give a shit.

      A strange twisted smile formed on his lips as this occurred to him. He was a brand new person. No! He was no longer a person, just an entity. He was flesh and blood, skin, and hair. But he was no longer human.

      He put a hand to his chest. Nothing. He felt a heart that beat no longer. He tried to hold his breath to listen more intently but realized that he had no breath to hold. He saw only pitch black darkness, but yet everything was surrounded by this beautiful green glow that allowed him to see everything perfectly.

      It had taken him at least ten minutes to claw his way out. It was strange, but he did not feel any fear or panic as he realized where he was.  He looked around at his new world. It was dark, cold, and yet more beautiful than anything he had ever seen before. There was no fear. No emotion.

      Just the seething rage. And the sickening hunger. The craving he felt was more intense than anything he had ever felt before. It radiated from the core of his being causing the world to twist and contort between a shadowy blur and a bright explosion of lights. He felt dizzy and weak. But yet he could feel more strength than he had ever known simmering beneath the hunger.

      He had to feed.

      The smell of blood called to him. He could not see anyone close to him, but just a mile to his left was a town full of people. An endless supply of food.

      He began to walk towards town. He could not stop smiling.

      The target was spotted getting out of a cab on Main Street. 

      She was average height, long angelic blond hair, curvy hips, and big tits. She appeared to be a college girl. She was wearing tight hip hugging jeans and a tight blouse that displayed beautiful cleavage.

      The vampire zoned in on her like a lion. He was aroused in many ways. His newfound hunger for blood was overtaken only by his throbbing erection.  Guess I’m not as dead as I thought.

      The street was crowded.  It was full of college kids, bikers, whores, drug dealers, and a million other kinds of misfits. This sort of scene used to make him sick, but tonight he found it oddly liberating. He saw only food and human toys. Things to be used for his endless amusement.  Nothing else. It was intoxicating.

      As a human, he had been a good person. He felt sorry for people and tried to help them. The tables had completely turned now. Everyone was a filthy animal.  All of them cows that were there for his enjoyment.  He loved this feeling. It was going to be a great existence.  For the first time since his human birth, he felt truly alive.

      Yet he was not the least bit distracted.  He was now a predator and his prey was in his sights. He was honing in. Nothing else meant anything to him.

      As he entered the bar, the bouncer grabbed his arm.

      Hey man. You got to pay the cover.

      The vampire glanced at the ticket girl who was waiting anxiously.

      He felt himself smile at her and then turn his gaze to the beefy bouncer who still gripped his arm.

      Then something odd happened. A calm peaceful feeling washed over him as his eyes locked with the bouncer’s. He could actually see inside of the bouncers eyes. It was as if he had left his own body and was stepping into the bouncer’s. 

      He felt fear begin to grow wildly
