    Trapped in a tiny town, an inexperienced closeted young man travels with his homophobic Marine father on an eleven day hunting trip with others from his father’s days in the Corps. But it is one of these Marines—his father’s former Drill Instructor—that catches his attention.

      This book blew my mind away. It starts out all sex and kink. The main top is an intense intelligent asshole Marine. Then slowly the walls come down without ever losing the intensity. The story turns into a major train wreck with their lives put through hell, again, all without losing any intensity or sex.

      The author does not hold back, and I cannot believe he put so much darkness into a porn novel. The fact that I made it through some of the more extreme graphic stuff still astounds me.

      The story is quite plausible and it mixes with the sex quite nice. This isn't one where a story is brought in just to give the characters something to do.

      I am reading it a second time, and I am picking things up that I missed the first time around.
