    I literary leaped out of my chair when I got the call from Crystal Ltd inviting me to come for an interview the next morning. They had finally got back to me after four months, I thought my application form was unsuccessful. It had not surprised me, Crystal Ltd was one of the best technology companies in London and were growing fast.

    My daughter; Ruby wiggled in her chair with excitement. It was as if she knew why I was happy. I smiled and kissed her. Life had not been easy for the two of us had not been getting by easily. I had to get a job as soon as possible. Life as a single mother was not easy. I whispered a little prayer, I had to get this job no matter what. The pay was good, the hours were good and there was a daycare really close. It was perfect. I carried Ruby in my arms and headed to the bedroom, not that it was far. We lived in a one bedroom apartment. After the divorce, we had to downsize.

      I held dresses up to Ruby, Which one you like sweetie? I asked her. She sat on the bed playing with her toys giggling. She reached out and touched a blue silk camisole. Do you like that one? I asked her.

      Yes! she called out with a big smile on her face.

      Okay, I will wear this one then 

      I picked out my outfit and then did some research on the company. I had to be prepared. I was not leaving anything to chance.

      I woke up bright and early the next morning. I washed myself and prepared breakfast. Ruby was such a darling.
