      INTRODUCTION

      God puts people together in family units to help one another succeed and be happy. One important assignment we have is to help each other to be happy in life. We should encourage each other to rise above circumstances, build, inspire and bring the best out of each other. When people come around you, they should leave better than they came. Let your family members leave home with joy in their hearts and be anxious to return home because you are always there to uplift them.

      Become a beacon of hope to each other. When one is threatened with the challenges of life out there, let him be able to fall back on you for support as one with familiar history and purpose.

      Love tells us to be kind to one another. One Bible translation says, Love looks for ways to help improve somebody else’s life. You cannot say you love someone without being kind to him. Be kind enough to make a difference in the life of your family members each day because someone’s happiness is specifically tied to you each day. You have something unique to give which nobody else can offer.

      Do not just be concerned about yourself alone. Think about how to make somebody else’s life better as well. What you make happen to others, God will make happen for you also. When you fill someone else’s day with joy, God will fill your day with happiness. Have you ever been lifted in your spirit because you put a smile on somebody’s face? That is God rewarding you for the joy you sowed into another person’s life.
