Jesus’ Extreme Limits

About this ebook
(This is the third of three in series.)
Jesus teaches in John 10:30 that "The Father and I are one” but says in John 14:28 that ".... I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.” Which one is it, then?
The complexities of the Christian faith lie in part on the apparent contradictions between Biblical verses. Pius M. Sumaktoyo found it difficult to just accept some teachings of the Church at face value. Relying on the confidence that God is good and that He will always guide him, Pius went on to re-think some of the Church’s teachings.
In the first phase of his endeavor, he wrestled with the question of reincarnation. In the second phase, he found that Jesus did teach reincarnation. He was also attracted by books in psychology and hypnosis on past life regression and the experience of the souls. Now, in the third phase, Pius is provoked by the difficulties in articulating the divinity of Jesus.
This book argues that Jesus is God, not only in the traditional Triune God theology but also well beyond that. It proposes a new approach to find and believe that Jesus is God, the true God and the end of an endless reincarnation.

Pius believed that Christ's people needed to know the truth that Jesus had come to testify.

Preface
This is my third book about my thought of Christianity. This comes from my contemplation for the period between 2013 - 2015, from 59 to 61 of my age.
Around January 2013, someone said to me: Mary conceived the Holy Spirit; it was God, the Holy Spirit that Mary conceived.
What he said have led me to start another contemplation with a purpose: How to say that Jesus is God.
I remember, around the year 1994, I followed a revival gathering carried out in the Indoor Tennis Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta. The guest speaker at the event was Vassula Ryden.
In turn, Vassula stood up in the middle of the podium, started to preach the messages that Jesus wanted her to reveal. Once in a while Vassula pointed her eyes to the attendants by looking straight forward; at some opportunities the point of her eyes was a little bit to the right or a little bit to the left but most likely it had never been more than 20 degrees.
In one moment Vassula was talking a topic about the divinity of Jesus. She told that there’re many people trying to tell that Jesus is not God - those people were saying that to believe in the divinity of Jesus was a mistake.
It was odd, when she began to speak the topic, Vassula turned her body right at 90 degrees. I was sitting there.
I remember the moment clearly, because in that period I was grappling on the same topic. But, rather than to deny Jesus, the purpose of my contemplation was to believe that Jesus is God. A question was coming to my mind, Why does, through Vassula, Jesus admonished me? Do I make something wrong with my contemplation?
However, the harshness of my heart told: If it is wrong, let the Lord make it straight.
I did not stop my contemplation.
Now, I have finished my contemplation. I have a feeling that I am permitted to articulate it in the humans’ language, to say to the world that Jesus is God.
Returning to the memory of the 1994 moment, I believe Jesus did not admonish me, but He was strengthening me for this book.
What this book is about? It is about to say that Jesus is God, and, it is said well beyond the Triune God. It proposes a new approach to find and to believe that Jesus is God.
Additional notes, prior to Smashwords edition, 2016: My personal Christian faith is developing. I have written three books on the similar topic. Now, I am writing my fourth book. Purposely, I did not melt and rewrite the three into one book. I deliberately let the books remain to be in its original contemplation period. The books show the track of my development, with that, I like to encourage anyone to be courageous and to be honest to find God. God is good. God loves humanity. God will help. One thing I am sure, there are Christian treasures, Jesus’ teachings, await to reveal.

Introduction
Around January 2013, someone said to me: Mary conceived the Holy Spirit; it was God the Holy Spirit that Mary conceived.
He (that someone) has said about the same thing to many people. When he told about it to me, it came to my mind an impression that he made mistake to quote. I did not deny, I was just surprised.
It was written that Mary conceived through the Holy Spirit, why did he say that, Mary conceived the Holy Spirit? Besides, in the Apostles’ Creed(1) it is written:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

However, his (that someone) coherence pushed me to open the Bible. I found The holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. ... (Luke 1:35)
The sentence has been for twenty centuries there, but it had been overlooked. Luke 1:35 by itself explains that Mary conceived the Holy Spirit.
It has a different meaning to ... for the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20)
or "by the power of the Holy Spirit (the Apostles’ Creed)".
A blink of hope sparked. I felt a door was opened to tell the world that Jesus is God.
Being a Catholic, two popular things are difficult to explain, the Triune God and the Bible’s contradictions or the Bible’s controversies.
After passing long and deep contemplations, now I don’t need to explain about the Triune God. Well beyond the Triune God, I come to know or come to a believe that Jesus is God, that Jesus is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the only true God (John 17:3).
How did I come there?
Initially, I am not sure how, I decided to fully believe that Jesus is God. Then by taking it as a truth, I contemplated further. Slowly and randomly, I was experiencing how the sheets of the truth of the Bible got out of the contradictions. A few times I related to my friends: I have a feeling that I am being led to recognize Jesus is God, Jesus is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. I am on trying to articulate the truth in humans’ language.
In this chapter, I write an introduction about the complexity surrounding the divinity of Jesus. Jesus is a multidimensional. However, the Lord did show me an exit point to get away of the complexity. The key is, first, to believe that Jesus is God, second, to have it as the base of contemplation to understand.
In chapter 2, I try to articulate in humans’ language that Jesus is God, that Jesus is the Father and
