Introduction
The Paleolithic diet, also known as the caveman diet, is based on what our ancestors consumed in their daily lives before the development of agriculture and processed foods 10,000 years ago. The guidelines include eating foods that can be hunted or gathered from the natural environment. The diet recommends eating 40% from plants and 60% from animals.
