Two Legs or Four Story - 1
The debate has long been an issue, on the Serengeti Plains, between the ostrich flock, and the zebra herd. Which is better two legs, or four? The elders of the flock, and of the herd, had all learned that it was best to agree to disagree. What was of real importance was avoiding the jaws of the various predators that stalked the plain. Being distracted by an argument that would have no conclusion was dangerous when complete focus was needed, because at any moment a lion or leopard could spring out of the bush rendering the dispute mute point.
The ostrich has always been a little temperamental on the subject. Being one of the few animals on the plain that gets around on only two legs, there was more than an overwhelming consensus that having four legs was better. The zebra being the more arrogant of the four-legged animals on the plain, openly taunts the ostrich for only having two legs with neighs of ridicule. Wilder beast, antelope, gazelle, all four legged proponents, backed the zebra’s arguments.
On a particularly warm sunny morning, a young zebra gloated to his young ostrich friend, that with four legs he could run like the wind, zigzag using his stripes to confuse a predator, and run circles around ostriches. If I injure one leg, I still have three more to stand on,
said the zebra neighing in laughter at his ostrich friend. If you injure a leg, you would simply fall over.
The zebra said, laughing until his sides began to hurt.
"Yes maybe, but
