      TRADITIONAL DEMANDS

      I would like to start by pointing out a few critical aspects that have often been demanded on the woman by our tradition which as Christians we have to try and correct. Scriptures will be used to draw inferences as what these do in the light of the spiritual interpretation. During a discussion of the traditional way of counselling, a number of truths highlighted according to the word of God and its consequences were seen as new insights by the group. It was evident that these practices are done mostly out of ignorance but in the quest to continue upholding norms by those who disseminate this
