30 Days of Prayer Devotional - Dr. Constance Cooper
Introduction
This prayer devotional is dedicated to helping you enter into the Lord’s presence with all your heart, soul and mind. Allow yourself to relax and surrender your will to His perfect and pleasing will, which is perfect in His eyes.
I know God was at the center of each of these prayers simply because He gave me the instruction. I obeyed His voice, His leading, and all of His words were transferred onto paper.
I pray and hope this book will bless you as God has blessed me through His heart.
Thank you for allowing me into your private time as you go into your prayer closet.
Blessings to you and may His peace, love and Spirit lead and guide you into all truth!
Day 1
Psalm 32:1-2
Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him, and in whose spirit is no deceit.
Our God is a loving God and He is ever so forgiving! The Bible tells us how many times we must forgive someone. Seventy times seven is what it says, so if the Lord says to forgive your fellow man that many times then consider how many times God forgives you on a daily basis. You know the times when you have entertained evil thoughts towards someone, or you lied on purpose in a day. Remember how many times you said you were going to do something and you didn’t, or you did it with a bad attitude.
You might ask what’s my point? Well we have and serve a forgiving God who is slow to anger, always merciful, and quick to forgive. He is full of loving kindness. Just read about David the author of many of the Psalms like the one above.
Day 1 Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I come to you today as humbly as I know how. I repent right now Father for all I have done knowingly and unknowingly. Forgive me Lord and thank you right now for your precious blood that washes me as white as snow. You present me faultless before your throne with exceeding great joy.
Take over my life Lord and order my steps. Take control of my day. Guide me to my purpose. Protect me from every spirit sent to distract me, block me, and hinder me today. I thank you Lord for keeping me in perfect peace because I am keeping my mind stayed on you!
Thank you Lord for all you have revealed and hidden from me this day in Jesus name. And I seal this prayer with the Blood of Jesus. Amen!
Day 2
Romans 8:15-19
So you should not be like cowering, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God’s very own children. And since we are His children, we will share in treasures - for everything God gives to his Son Christ, is ours, too. But if we are to share His glory, we must also share His suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later.
As we go about our days we should always take the time to thank God we are still here. Yes! Thank God we are still here. I believe we take for granted the fact that we have a roof over our heads, shoes on our feet, and clothes on our backs. I have been praying for God’s people simply because we are in perilous times. But we serve a God who sits high and looks low. He still keeps record of us and knows our ways.
Today when you pray the following prayer, remember God already had a plan for you before the foundations of the earth were formed. Your day was planned. So just slow down and listen. Allow Him to lead and guide you into all truth.
Day 2 Prayer
Dear most precious and gracious Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a repentant heart, asking you to search me Lord. Point out everything in me that offends you. It is my desire to please you and to be used by you. Lord show me who you assigned to my destiny. Allow me to see your angelic host maneuver around every obstacle the enemy is trying to use to distract me from my divine purpose this day.
You Lord are my desire, and it is my desire to bring you absolute glory, to edify and establish your Kingdom in the earth realm. Lord allow me to cast out devils and heal the sick. Release your glory Lord so your people will see you. None of me but all of you Lord Jesus! Father, your people are sick. They are hurting and need financial breakthroughs. So we thank you now for releasing the rain in this season. In Jesus name, we pray this prayer and seal it with your precious blood. Amen!
Day 3
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Often times in
