Tin Universe Monthly #9 - Brian C. Williams
Part Two
Jeff is springing for the airline tickets for this trip to Tennessee. A trip that has him heading out away from Florida with his best friend Karen. Even more than her family he knows when she needs to get away from people before she blows like the top of a pressure cooker left alone for way too long.
This is a trip that has several purposes. One purpose is for all of them to get away and maybe visit some of the places of Jeff’s youth from the time before he moved to Florida from Tennessee and also see some of Virginia if there’s time.
But the main purpose of this trip as stated above is to save themselves from Karen’s anger. Everyone hopes this trip will keep Karen from going postal on the whole Sunshine State. See she has a lot of built up anger and her anger filled frame isn’t nowhere near being full and that’s bad because when it does finally fill it will overflow and explode big time.
I was a little repetitive there wasn’t I?
Bad writer, no cookie.
Jeff isn’t always so altruistic though. Nice guy all around but he doesn’t throw around many gifts. He thinks birthdays and Christmas are stupid celebrations and when he does give out gifts he likes to do it at times when friends need them the most.
This is the same guy who says his lifelong dream is to open up a chain of thousands of phone booth size masturbation kiosks; though that is an openhanded plan worthy of admiration, if you ask me. As he has said, This will be my legacy to leave to the world.
It is a pretty big offer to pay for airline tickets for three people when it comes from someone who works part time at a restaurant as a dishwasher slash backup cook.
Then again said restaurant is KAREN’S, owned by yes, Karen’s parents, who pay Jeff for full time hours while he works part time. Its part of a deal they made with him for his help with the redesign of the restaurant and staying in
