Ronald E. Newton I spent eight years with the USAF Security Service serving overseas. Military intelligence is not an oxymoron. Worked several years as a medicare claims examiner for the state of New Jersey. Finally found a job I liked. Meaning I love to work my job. After 32 years retired from IBM as a networking consultant. It was an eye opener to work in the back rooms of corporate America. Some where in the journey I married a southern belle and moved to the south. Two sons and daughter entered my family and all of them have left home to be on their own. They still come back though. After receiving helping hands in my career, I taught for free, the SAT in Greensboro, NC for 25 years. Every college graduate was a satisfying victory for me and my students. The lesson learned there was don't teach---Mentor! Became immersed in a new network called the Internet. Imagine PCs instead of water cooled main frames. Worked to launch free blogs at triadblogs.com. Developed mentoring site for SAT, GED and Personal Finances. I have a personal blog at www.rnewton.net/wordpress/ and an author's website at www.rnewton.net. You may email me or get links to my mentoring sites from my author's website. Please drop by and kick the tires. I was first published in Negro Digest in 1964. My how the years have flown. Why should you give a book review? These are extracts from lessons I learned from other deacons. Sermons that stuck in my mind and were amplified over the year by living in this world. Life has been good with some hard and evil events in it. To live I did! The word live is evil spelled backwards.

I do not want credit for this work because many have shown me the truth and contributed it to me. I just want their words to find new fertile soil and be remembered currently.

The King James Version Bible (KJV) and the Good News Translation Bible (GNT) are used in this eBook. In my opinion, the King James Bible version is an excellent research Bible. Its language sometimes gets in the way of understanding by the new generation of this time. The Good News Bible speaks plain for most of us today and I like it for that purpose.

Bible pamphlets are produced to provoke study, investigation, and hook readers into reading their Bibles. My own study of the Bible began when I had a question of a particular topic. Because I was a student I researched the topic as I would for a college class. My mind slanted my question to, What does the Bible say about that?

With a Strong’s concordance or the Internet, Bible verses may be found on any topic. Trying to read the Bible as a book from beginning to end was not my cup of tea. All the biblical references for a topic are not presented here. Just the main ones. In any Bible study try to gather the verses in the Bible that touch on your topic. If two verses conflict you have found your first
