Joké Laniyonu-Mayers was born and raised in Nigeria, Africa. Her career has spanned diverse fields, but her love of writing & cooking have remained constant aspects of her adult life. Joké has authored & produced many literary and artistic creations including: her poetry collection, biographies, cookbooks and paintings. She is currently working on a collection of short stories and other books. This prolific & versatile writer, lecturer, motivational speaker, teacher, television personality, poet & entrepreneur, currently resides in British Columbia, Canada.
