      Synopsis: The Battle To Stay On Top, Two billionaires clash in the boardroom and the bedroom, until one of them comes out on top.

      It’s been too long. Way too long. This was the thought echoing through Kate’s head as she prepared to deliver her Powerpoint presentation. Eleven months since I’ve felt a man’s touch.

      Kate was a smart, driven, focused woman; an accomplished CEO with a net worth of nearly two billion dollars. However, with the room full of so many handsome faces, focusing on business was a challenge she wasn’t quite ready for.

      Thank God for the earpiece, she thought, catching her breath after a random glance at Glen Turnbull’s strong shoulders. Emily, her trusted assistant, sat in the next room, poised to keep her boss on task with prompts to the next topic or helpful ways of dealing with troublesome distractions. This was especially helpful with Kate’s mind so likely to roam to thoughts outside of the realm of business; like Jeffrey Sandstone’s folded hands, so firm, so unyielding. Kate imagined those hands around her ribcage, lifting her petite frame to his face, the smell of his manly aftershave lotion, urging her closer.

      Then she’d nibble on his jaw and --

      A sharp tap at her earpiece snapped Kate back into focus.

      Uh... good morning, everybody! she boomed in the voice of a much larger woman. "I’d like to give you a little update on where everything stands at BoldWear fashions.

      The image on the screen was the BoldWear fashion logo, but damned if she could lift her gaze away from Thomas LeGrange’s lips, especially that lower one aimed at her like an invitation to a heated round of loving kisses. She thought of the damage he could do with that thing, especially lapping wildly at her clit again and again and again, until her limbs stiffened and her pixie cut blurred into an accidental fauxhawk.

      What a way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon, she thought. Thomas and I getting the sheets all wrinkled and damp with hour after hour of passionate play...

      An unsubtle throat-clearing from Emily sent her back to the screen.

      Um, yes! As many of you know, we’ve been dominating the market in women’s workplace fashion for nearly a half decade now, with the slogan ‘We’re hard at work to make you look good at work.’

      But we now face... Emily chirped in the earpiece.

      But we now face the biggest challenge of our company’s life span -- RioGrande fashion!

      The screen’s image altered, displaying the face of but Kyle McCoy, RioGrande’s CEO. Kate, now growing intense enough to dodge past any distractions, faced down her small audience around the table.

      After years of success in the market of men’s office wear, this company has decided to branch out into women’s fashions with a brand new line of clothing that should look suspiciously familiar to our devoted customers. And that is why this man --

      Kate swung to the screen behind her, caught a glimpse of Kyle’s handsome face and found herself without words.

      She swallowed, took a deep breath, tried to compose herself. Still nothing.

      Um... say something please, Emily squeaked into the earpiece. However, seconds of uncomfortable silence dragged by.

      Oh, my, she groaned, prompting muttering from the table.

      She knew he was handsome. Nevertheless, she’d forgotten how much. It had been two years since they’d seen each other. The years had dulled the memory of those piercing eyes and the way they reached inside her soul. His mouth had been forgotten as well, charitably wiped clean from her recollection.

      However, those kisses --soft clashes of heated skin that melted her insides -- would always be with her. Even his good-old-boy, rural Texas attitude couldn’t poison the joy they’d experienced during that evening together in an Aspen ski lodge.

      This man must be crushed! Emily prompted. Then she repeated it. By the third time, the prompt had penetrated Kate’s shell of distraction.

      This man must be destroyed, she repeated. However, it was with all the commanding euphoria of a gawky teen requesting her mother to pass the mashed potatoes. The table rattled with more muttering.

      If Mr. McCoy succeeds, our existence at BoldWear will be in jeopardy. That is why we have no choice but to fight back. One way or the other, we have to push back on their efforts to encroach on our territory -- either through intimidation or persuasion.

      Another prompt from Emily: With your help, I hope to bring this man...

      She turned back to the image --

      Nevertheless, with another glance she was lost once again. -- this handsome man... with those stunningly soulful eyes...

      To his knees, said Emily.

      To my knees -- um, his knees!

      Her enthused -- and puzzled -- audience applauded. Kate veiled her mixed emotions behind
